3 Gott, du hast uns verworfen, hast uns zerstreut, bist zornig gewesen; führe uns wieder zurück!

10 Moab ist mein Waschbecken, auf Edom will ich meine Sandale werfen; Philistäa, jauchze mir zu!

11 Wer wird mich führen in die feste Stadt, wer wird mich leiten bis nach Edom?

9 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?⁴

12 Nicht du, Gott, der du uns verworfen hast und nicht auszogst, o Gott, mit unseren Heeren?

10 Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?

13 Schaffe uns Hilfe aus der Bedrängnis⁴! Menschenrettung ist ja eitel.
