1 Und1 sie brachten die LadeLade GottesGottes hinein und stellten sie innerhalb des ZeltesZeltes, das DavidDavid für sie aufgeschlagen hatte. Und sie brachten BrandopferBrandopfer und FriedensopferFriedensopfer dar vor GottGott. 1 So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.
2 Und als DavidDavid das OpfernOpfern der BrandopferBrandopfer und der FriedensopferFriedensopfer beendigt hatte, segnete er das Volk im NamenNamen des HERRN;2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
3 und er verteilte an ganz IsraelIsrael, vom MannMann bis zur FrauFrau, an jeden einen Laib BrotBrot und einen Trunk Wein2 und einen RosinenkuchenRosinenkuchen.3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.
4 Und er bestellte vor die LadeLade des HERRN einige von den LevitenLeviten als DienerDiener, dass sie des HERRN, des GottesGottes IsraelsIsraels, gedächten3 und ihn priesen4 und rühmten:4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:
5 AsaphAsaph, das HauptHaupt, und SekarjaSekarja, den zweiten nach ihm, JeghielJeghiel5 und Schemiramot und JeghielJeghiel und MattitjaMattitja und EliabEliab und BenajaBenaja und Obed-EdomObed-Edom und JeghielJeghiel, mit Harf-Instrumenten und mit Lauten; und AsaphAsaph ließ die ZimbelnZimbeln erklingen;5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;1
6 und BenajaBenaja und JachasielJachasiel, die PriesterPriester, waren beständig mit TrompetenTrompeten vor der LadeLade des BundesBundes GottesGottes.6 Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Damals, an jenem TagTag, trug DavidDavid zum ersten Mal AsaphAsaph und seinen BrüdernBrüdern auf, den HERRN zu preisen:7 Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
8 Preist6 den HERRN, ruft seinen NamenNamen an, macht kund unter den Völkern seine Taten!8 Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
9 Singt ihm, singt ihm Psalmen7; sinnt über8 alle seine Wunderwerke!9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
10 Rühmt euch seines heiligen NamensNamens! Es freue sich das HerzHerz derer, die den HERRN suchen!10 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
11 Trachtet nach dem HERRN und seiner Stärke, sucht sein Angesicht beständig!11 Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
12 Gedenkt seiner Wunderwerke, die er getan hat, seiner Wunderzeichen und der Gerichte9 seines Mundes! 12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
13 Du Nachkomme IsraelsIsraels, sein KnechtKnecht, ihr Söhne JakobsJakobs, seine Auserwählten! 13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
14 Er, der HERR, ist unser GottGott; seine GerichteGerichte sind auf der ganzen ErdeErde.14 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
15 Gedenkt ewiglich seines BundesBundes, des WortesWortes, das er geboten hat auf tausend GeschlechterGeschlechter hin, 15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
16 Den er gemacht hat mit AbrahamAbraham, und seines EidesEides, den er IsaakIsaak geschworen hat10. 16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
17 Und er stellte ihn JakobJakob zur SatzungSatzung, IsraelIsrael zum ewigen BundBund,17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 Indem er sprach: Dir will ich das Land KanaanKanaan geben als Schnur eures ErbteilsErbteils;18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;2
19 Als ihr ein zählbares Häuflein11 wart, gar wenige und Fremde darin.19 When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.3
20 Und sie wanderten von Nation zu Nation und von einem ReichReich zu einem anderen Volk.20 And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
21 Er ließ niemand zu, sie zu bedrücken, und ihretwegen strafte er KönigeKönige:21 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
22 „Tastet meine Gesalbten nicht an, und meinen ProphetenPropheten tut nichts Übles!“ 22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
23 Singt12 dem HERRN, ganze ErdeErde! Verkündet TagTag für TagTag seine Rettung!23 Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.
24 Erzählt unter den NationenNationen seine HerrlichkeitHerrlichkeit, unter allen Völkern seine Wundertaten!24 Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.
25 Denn groß ist der HERR und sehr zu loben, und furchtbar ist er über alle GötterGötter.25 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods.
26 Denn alle GötterGötter der Völker sind Nichtigkeiten13, aber der HERR hat die HimmelHimmel gemacht.26 For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
27 Majestät und Pracht sind vor seinem Angesicht, Stärke und FreudeFreude in seiner Wohnstätte.27 Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.
28 Gebt dem HERRN, ihr Völkerstämme, gebt dem HERRN HerrlichkeitHerrlichkeit und Stärke!28 Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
29 Gebt dem HERRN die HerrlichkeitHerrlichkeit seines NamensNamens; bringt eine OpfergabeOpfergabe und kommt vor sein Angesicht; betetbetet den HERRN an in heiliger Pracht!29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
30 Erzittert vor ihm, ganze ErdeErde! Auch steht der Erdkreis fest, er wird nicht wanken.30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
31 Es freue sich der HimmelHimmel, und es frohlocke die ErdeErde! Und man spreche unter den NationenNationen: Der HERR regiert!31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.
32 Es brause das MeerMeer und seine Fülle! Es frohlocke das Gefilde und alles, was darauf ist! 32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.
33 Dann werden jubeln die Bäume des WaldesWaldes – vor dem HERRN, denn er kommt, die ErdeErde zu richten!33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.
34 Preist14 den HERRN, denn er ist gütig, denn seine Güte währt ewiglich! 34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
35 Und sprecht: Rette uns, GottGott unserer Rettung, und sammle und befreie uns aus den NationenNationen; dass wir deinen heiligen NamenNamen preisen, dass wir uns rühmen deines LobesLobes! 35 And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
36 Gepriesen sei der HERR, der GottGott IsraelsIsraels, von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit!Und alles Volk sprach: AmenAmen!, und lobte den HERRN.36 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.
37 Und David15 ließ dort, vor der LadeLade des BundesBundes des HERRN, AsaphAsaph und seine BrüderBrüder, um beständig vor der LadeLade zu dienen nach der täglichen Gebühr;37 So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:
38 und Obed-EdomObed-Edom und seine16 BrüderBrüder, 68; und Obed-EdomObed-Edom, den SohnSohn JeduthunsJeduthuns, und HosaHosa als TorhüterTorhüter.38 And Obededom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be porters:
39 ZadokZadok, den PriesterPriester, aber und seine BrüderBrüder, die PriesterPriester, ließ er vor der Wohnung des HERRN, auf der HöheHöhe, die in GibeonGibeon ist,39 And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,
40 um dem HERRN BrandopferBrandopfer zu opfern auf dem Brandopferaltar beständig, des MorgensMorgens und des AbendsAbends, und zwar nach allem, was in dem GesetzGesetz des HERRN geschrieben steht, das er IsraelIsrael geboten hat;40 To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel;4
41 und mit ihnen HemanHeman und JeduthunJeduthun und die übrigen Auserlesenen, die mit NamenNamen angegeben waren, um den HERRN zu preisen17, dass seine Güte ewiglich währt; 41 And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever;
42 und mit ihnen, mit HemanHeman und JeduthunJeduthun, waren TrompetenTrompeten und ZimbelnZimbeln für die, die laut spielten, und die Musikinstrumente GottesGottes; und die Söhne JeduthunsJeduthuns waren für das TorTor.42 And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.5
43 Und das ganze Volk ging hin, jeder nach seinem HausHaus; und DavidDavid wandte sich, um sein HausHaus zu segnen18.43 And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
