1 Und die Söhne Rubens1, des Erstgeborenen IsraelsIsraels, – denn er war der Erstgeborene; weil er aber das LagerLager seines VatersVaters entweiht hatte, wurde sein ErstgeburtsrechtErstgeburtsrecht den Söhnen JosephsJosephs, des SohnesSohnes IsraelsIsraels, gegeben; aber er wird nicht nach der ErstgeburtErstgeburt verzeichnet2.1 Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.

6 dessen SohnSohn BeeraBeera, den Tilgat-PilneserTilgat-Pilneser, der König von AssyrienAssyrien, wegführte; er war ein FürstFürst der RubeniterRubeniter.6 Beerah his son, whom Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria carried away captive: he was prince of the Reubenites.2
7 Und seine BrüderBrüder, nach ihren Familien, nach dem Verzeichnis ihrer Geschlechter3, waren: das HauptHaupt, JehielJehiel; und SekarjaSekarja7 And his brethren by their families, when the genealogy of their generations was reckoned, were the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah,
8 und BelaBela, der SohnSohn AsasAsas, des SohnesSohnes SchemasSchemas, des SohnesSohnes JoelsJoels; dieser wohnte in AroerAroer und bis NeboNebo und Baal-MeonBaal-Meon;8 And Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who dwelt in Aroer, even unto Nebo and Baalmeon:3
9 und nach OstenOsten wohnte er bis zu der WüsteWüste, die sich von dem Strom Phrat her erstreckt4; denn ihre Herden waren zahlreich im Land GileadGilead. 9 And eastward he inhabited unto the entering in of the wilderness from the river Euphrates: because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
10 Und in den Tagen SaulsSauls führten sie Krieg mit den HageriternHageritern; und diese fielen durch ihre Hand, und sie wohnten in ihren Zelten auf der ganzen Ostseite von GileadGilead.10 And in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagarites, who fell by their hand: and they dwelt in their tents throughout all the east land of Gilead.4
11 Und die KinderKinder GadGad wohnten ihnen gegenüber im Land BasanBasan bis SalkaSalka:11 And the children of Gad dwelt over against them, in the land of Bashan unto Salchah:
12 JoelJoel, das HauptHaupt; und SchaphamSchapham, der zweite; und JahnaiJahnai und SchaphatSchaphat, in BasanBasan.12 Joel the chief, and Shapham the next, and Jaanai, and Shaphat in Bashan.
13 Und ihre BrüderBrüder nach ihren Vaterhäusern: MichaelMichael und MeschullamMeschullam und SchebaScheba und JoraiJorai und JakanJakan und SiaSia und HeberHeber, sieben.13 And their brethren of the house of their fathers were, Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jachan, and Zia, and Heber, seven.
14 Das waren die Söhne AbichailsAbichails, des SohnesSohnes HurisHuris, des SohnesSohnes JaroachsJaroachs, des SohnesSohnes GileadsGileads, des SohnesSohnes MichaelsMichaels, des SohnesSohnes JeschischaisJeschischais, des SohnesSohnes JachdosJachdos, des SohnesSohnes BusBus'.14 These are the children of Abihail the son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz;
15 AchiAchi, der SohnSohn AbdielsAbdiels, des SohnesSohnes GunisGunis, war das HauptHaupt ihres Vaterhauses.15 Ahi the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, chief of the house of their fathers.
16 Und sie wohnten in GileadGilead, in BasanBasan und in deren Tochterstädten und in allen Weidetriften SaronsSarons bis an ihre Ausgänge. 16 And they dwelt in Gilead in Bashan, and in her towns, and in all the suburbs of Sharon, upon their borders.5
17 Diese alle sind verzeichnet worden in den Tagen JothamsJothams, des Königs von JudaJuda, und in den Tagen Jerobeams, des Königs von IsraelIsrael.17 All these were reckoned by genealogies in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
18 Die KinderKinder RubenRuben und die GaditerGaditer und der halbe Stamm ManasseManasse, was tapfere Männer waren, Männer, die SchildSchild und SchwertSchwert trugen und den BogenBogen spannten und des KriegesKrieges kundig waren: 44760, die zum Heer auszogen. 18 The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear buckler and sword, and to shoot with bow, and skilful in war, were four and forty thousand seven hundred and threescore, that went out to the war.6
19 Und sie führten Krieg mit den HageriternHageritern und mit JeturJetur und NaphischNaphisch und NodabNodab;19 And they made war with the Hagarites, with Jetur, and Nephish, and Nodab.
20 und es wurde ihnen gegen sie geholfen; und die HageriterHageriter wurden in ihre Hand gegeben samt allen, die mit ihnen waren; denn sie schrien zu GottGott im KampfKampf, und er ließ sich von ihnen erbitten, weil sie auf ihn vertraut hatten. 20 And they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated of them; because they put their trust in him.
21 Und sie führten ihr ViehVieh weg: 50000 KameleKamele und 250000 Stück Kleinvieh und 2000 EselEsel und 100000 Menschenseelen. 21 And they took away their cattle; of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand, and of men an hundred thousand.78
22 Denn es fielen viele Erschlagene, weil der KampfKampf von GottGott war. Und sie wohnten an ihrer statt bis zur WegführungWegführung.22 For there fell down many slain, because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their steads until the captivity.
23 Und die KinderKinder des halben Stammes ManasseManasse wohnten im Land, von BasanBasan bis Baal-HermonBaal-Hermon und bis zum Senir5 und bis zum BergBerg HermonHermon; sie waren zahlreich.23 And the children of the half tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land: they increased from Bashan unto Baalhermon and Senir, and unto mount Hermon.
24 Und dies waren die Häupter ihrer Vaterhäuser: nämlich EpherEpher und Jischi und ElielEliel und AsrielAsriel und JeremjaJeremja und HodawjaHodawja und JachdielJachdiel, tapfere Kriegsmänner, Männer von NamenNamen, Häupter ihrer Vaterhäuser. 24 And these were the heads of the house of their fathers, even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty men of valour, famous men, and heads of the house of their fathers.9
25 Aber sie handelten treulos gegen den GottGott ihrer VäterVäter und hurten den GötternGöttern der Völker des Landes nach, die GottGott vor ihnen vertilgt hatte.25 And they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them.
26 Da erweckte der GottGott IsraelsIsraels den GeistGeist PulsPuls, des Königs von AssyrienAssyrien, und den GeistGeist Tilgat-PilnesersTilgat-Pilnesers, des Königs von AssyrienAssyrien, und er führte sie weg, die RubeniterRubeniter und die GaditerGaditer und den halben Stamm ManasseManasse, und brachte sie nach HalachHalach und an den HaborHabor und nach Hara6 und an den Strom von Gosan7 bis auf diesen TagTag.26 And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, unto this day.
27 Die Söhne Levis8 waren: GersomGersom, KehatKehat und MerariMerari.1 The sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.10
28 Und die Söhne KehatsKehats: AmramAmram, JizharJizhar und HebronHebron und UssielUssiel.2 And the sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.
29 Und die Söhne AmramsAmrams: AaronAaron und MoseMose, und MirjamMirjam. Und die Söhne AaronsAarons: NadabNadab und AbihuAbihu, EleasarEleasar und IthamarIthamar.3 And the children of Amram; Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
30 EleasarEleasar zeugtezeugte PinehasPinehas; PinehasPinehas zeugtezeugte AbischuaAbischua,4 Eleazar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua,
31 und AbischuaAbischua zeugtezeugte BukkiBukki, und BukkiBukki zeugtezeugte UssiUssi,5 And Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,
32 und UssiUssi zeugtezeugte SerachjaSerachja, und SerachjaSerachja zeugtezeugte MerajotMerajot;6 And Uzzi begat Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begat Meraioth,
33 MerajotMerajot zeugtezeugte AmarjaAmarja, und AmarjaAmarja zeugtezeugte AhitubAhitub,7 Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,
34 und AhitubAhitub zeugtezeugte ZadokZadok, und ZadokZadok zeugtezeugte AchimaazAchimaaz,8 And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz,
35 und AchimaazAchimaaz zeugtezeugte AsarjaAsarja, und AsarjaAsarja zeugtezeugte JochananJochanan,9 And Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Johanan,
36 und JochananJochanan zeugtezeugte AsarjaAsarja; dieser ist es, der den Priesterdienst ausübte in dem HausHaus, das SalomoSalomo in JerusalemJerusalem gebaut hatte.10 And Johanan begat Azariah, (he it is that executed the priest's office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem:)11

38 und AhitubAhitub zeugtezeugte ZadokZadok, und ZadokZadok zeugtezeugte SchallumSchallum,12 And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,12
39 und SchallumSchallum zeugtezeugte HilkijaHilkija, und HilkijaHilkija zeugtezeugte AsarjaAsarja,13 And Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,
40 und AsarjaAsarja zeugtezeugte SerajaSeraja, und SerajaSeraja zeugtezeugte JehozadakJehozadak;14 And Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,
41 und JehozadakJehozadak zog mit, als der HERR JudaJuda und JerusalemJerusalem durch NebukadnezarNebukadnezar wegführte.15 And Jehozadak went into captivity, when the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
