1 Und GottGott gedachte des NoahNoah und allen Tieren und alles ViehsViehs, das mit ihm in der Arche war. Und GottGott ließ einen WindWind über die ErdeErde fahren, und die Wasser sanken. 1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
2 Und es wurden verschlossen die Quellen der Tiefe und die FensterFenster des HimmelsHimmels, und dem RegenRegen vom HimmelHimmel wurde gewehrt.2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
3 Und die Wasser wichen von der ErdeErde, fort und fort weichend; und die Wasser nahmen ab nach Verlauf von 150 Tagen. 3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.1
4 Und im 7. Monat, am 17. TagTag des Monats, ruhte die Arche auf dem GebirgeGebirge AraratArarat. 4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
5 Und die Wasser nahmen fort und fort ab bis zum 10. Monat; im 10. Monat, am 1. des Monats, wurden die Spitzen der BergeBerge sichtbar. 5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.2
6 Und es geschah nach Verlauf von 40 Tagen, da öffnete NoahNoah das FensterFenster der Arche, das er gemacht hatte, und ließ den Raben aus; 6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
7 und der flog hin und wieder, bis die Wasser von der ErdeErde vertrocknet waren. 7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.3
8 Und er ließ die TaubeTaube von sich aus, um zu sehen, ob die Wasser sich verlaufen hätten von der Fläche des Erdbodens; 8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
9 aber die TaubeTaube fand keinen Ruheplatz für ihren Fuß1 und kehrte zu ihm in die Arche zurück; denn die Wasser waren noch auf der Fläche der ganzen ErdeErde; und er streckte seine Hand aus und nahm sie und brachte sie zu sich in die Arche.9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.4
10 Und er wartete noch sieben andere TageTage und ließ die TaubeTaube erneut aus der Arche. 10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
11 Und die TaubeTaube kam zu ihm um die Abendzeit, und siehe, ein abgerissenes Olivenblatt war in ihrem Schnabel. Und NoahNoah erkannte, dass die Wasser sich verlaufen hatten von der ErdeErde.11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
12 Und er wartete noch sieben andere TageTage und ließ die TaubeTaube aus; und sie kehrte nicht mehr wieder zu ihm zurück. 12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
13 Und es geschah im 600. JahrJahr, im 1. Monat, am 1. des Monats, da waren die Wasser von der ErdeErde vertrocknet. Und NoahNoah tat die DeckeDecke von der Arche und sah: Und siehe, die Fläche des Erdbodens war getrocknet. 13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.
14 Und im 2. Monat, am 27. TagTag des Monats, war die ErdeErde trocken. 14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
15 Und GottGott redete zu NoahNoah und sprach:15 And God spake unto Noah, saying,
16 Geh aus der Arche, du und deine FrauFrau und deine Söhne und die Frauen deiner Söhne mit dir.16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.
17 Alle TiereTiere, die bei dir sind, von allem FleischFleisch, an Vögeln und an ViehVieh und an allem Gewürm, das sich auf der ErdeErde regt, lass mit dir hinausgehen, dass sie wimmeln auf der ErdeErde und fruchtbar seien und sich auf der ErdeErde vermehren.17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.
18 Und NoahNoah ging hinaus und seine Söhne und seine FrauFrau und die Frauen seiner Söhne mit ihm.18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:
19 Alle TiereTiere, alles Gewürm und alle VögelVögel, alles, was sich auf der ErdeErde regt, nach ihren Arten, gingen aus der Arche.19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.5
20 Und NoahNoah baute dem HERRN einen AltarAltar; und er nahm von allem reinen ViehVieh und von allen reinen Vögeln und opferte BrandopferBrandopfer auf dem AltarAltar.20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21 Und der HERR roch den lieblichen Geruch2, und der HERR sprach in seinem Herzen: Von nun an will den Erdboden ich nicht mehr verfluchen um des Menschen willen; denn das Dichten3 des menschlichen Herzens ist böse von seiner Jugend an; und von nun an will ich nicht mehr alles Lebendige schlagen, wie ich getan habe. 21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.67
22 Forthin, alle TageTage der ErdeErde, sollen nicht aufhören SaatSaat und ErnteErnte, und Frost und Hitze, und SommerSommer und WinterWinter, und TagTag und NachtNacht.22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.8
