1 Und1 JosiaJosia feierte dem HERRN PassahPassah in JerusalemJerusalem; und man schlachtete das PassahPassah am 14. des 1. Monats. 1 Moreover Josiah kept a passover unto the LORD in Jerusalem: and they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.
2 Und er stellte die PriesterPriester in ihre Ämter und ermutigte sie zum Dienst des Hauses des HERRN. 2 And he set the priests in their charges, and encouraged them to the service of the house of the LORD,
3 Und er sprach zu den LevitenLeviten, die ganz IsraelIsrael unterwiesen, die dem HERRN geheiligt waren: Setzt die heilige LadeLade in das HausHaus, das SalomoSalomo, der SohnSohn DavidsDavids, der König von IsraelIsrael, gebaut hat; ihr habt sie nicht mehr auf der SchulterSchulter zu tragen. Dient von jetzt an dem HERRN, eurem GottGott, und seinem Volk IsraelIsrael; 3 And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel,
4 und bereitet euch nach euren Vaterhäusern, in euren AbteilungenAbteilungen, nach der Schrift DavidsDavids, des Königs von IsraelIsrael, und nach der Schrift seines SohnesSohnes SalomoSalomo;4 And prepare yourselves by the houses of your fathers, after your courses, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son.
5 und stellt euch im HeiligtumHeiligtum auf nach den2 Klassen der Vaterhäuser eurer BrüderBrüder, der KinderKinder des Volkes, und zwar je eine AbteilungAbteilung eines Vaterhauses der LevitenLeviten;5 And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the families of the fathers of your brethren the people, and after the division of the families of the Levites.12
6 und schlachtet das PassahPassah und heiligt euch und bereitet es für eure BrüderBrüder, dass ihr tut nach dem WortWort des HERRN durch MoseMose.6 So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that they may do according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
7 Und JosiaJosia schenkte3 den KindernKindern des Volkes an Kleinvieh: Lämmer und Ziegenböckchen – alles zu den Passahopfern für alle, die sich vorfanden – 30000 an der Zahl, und 3000 RinderRinder; das war von der Habe des Königs. 7 And Josiah gave to the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all for the passover offerings, for all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bullocks: these were of the king's substance.3
8 Und seine Obersten schenkten4 freiwillig für das Volk, für die PriesterPriester und für die LevitenLeviten. HilkijaHilkija und SekarjaSekarja und JechielJechiel, die Fürsten5 des Hauses GottesGottes, gaben den PriesternPriestern zu den Passahopfern 2600 Stück Kleinvieh und 300 RinderRinder.8 And his princes gave willingly unto the people, to the priests, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto the priests for the passover offerings two thousand and six hundred small cattle, and three hundred oxen.4
9 Und KonanjaKonanja, und SchemajaSchemaja und NethaneelNethaneel, seine BrüderBrüder, und HaschabjaHaschabja und JeghielJeghiel und JosabadJosabad, die Obersten der LevitenLeviten, schenkten6 den LevitenLeviten zu den Passahopfern 5000 Stück Kleinvieh und 500 RinderRinder. 9 Conaniah also, and Shemaiah and Nethaneel, his brethren, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad, chief of the Levites, gave unto the Levites for passover offerings five thousand small cattle, and five hundred oxen.5
10 Und der Dienst wurde eingerichtet; und die PriesterPriester standen an ihrer Stelle und die LevitenLeviten in ihren AbteilungenAbteilungen, nach dem Gebot des Königs. 10 So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses, according to the king's commandment.
11 Und sie schlachteten das PassahPassah; und die PriesterPriester sprengten das BlutBlut aus ihrer Hand, und die LevitenLeviten zogen die Haut ab.11 And they killed the passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood from their hands, and the Levites flayed them.
12 Und sie taten die BrandopferBrandopfer beiseite, um sie den Klassen der Vaterhäuser der KinderKinder des Volkes zu geben, um sie dem HERRN darzubringen, wie im BuchBuch MosesMoses geschrieben steht; und ebenso taten sie mit den RindernRindern.12 And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.
13 Und sie brieten das PassahPassah am FeuerFeuer nach der Vorschrift; und die geheiligten Dinge kochten sie in Töpfen und in Kesseln und in Schüsseln und verteilten sie eilends an alle KinderKinder des Volkes.13 And they roasted the passover with fire according to the ordinance: but the other holy offerings sod they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the people.6
14 Und danach bereiteten sie für sich und für die PriesterPriester; denn die PriesterPriester, die Söhne AaronsAarons, waren mit dem OpfernOpfern der BrandopferBrandopfer und der Fettstücke bis zur NachtNacht beschäftigt; und so bereiteten die LevitenLeviten für sich und für die PriesterPriester, die Söhne AaronsAarons.14 And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the priests the sons of Aaron were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of Aaron.
15 Und die Sänger, die Söhne AsaphsAsaphs, waren an ihrer Stelle, nach dem Gebot DavidsDavids und AsaphsAsaphs und HemansHemans und JeduthunsJeduthuns, des SehersSehers des Königs; und die TorhüterTorhüter waren an jedem TorTor: Sie hatten nicht nötig, von ihrem Dienst zu weichen, weil ihre BrüderBrüder, die LevitenLeviten, für sie bereiteten. 15 And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.7
16 Und so wurde der ganze Dienst des HERRN an jenem TagTag eingerichtet, um das PassahPassah zu feiern und die BrandopferBrandopfer auf dem AltarAltar des HERRN zu opfern, nach dem Gebot des Königs JosiaJosia.16 So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of the LORD, according to the commandment of king Josiah.
17 Und die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael, die sich vorfanden, feierten in dieser ZeitZeit das PassahPassah, und das Fest der ungesäuerten BroteBrote sieben TageTage lang. 17 And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.8
18 Und es war kein solches PassahPassah in IsraelIsrael gefeiert worden wie dieses, seit den Tagen SamuelsSamuels, des ProphetenPropheten; und alle KönigeKönige von IsraelIsrael hatten kein PassahPassah gefeiert wie dasjenige, das JosiaJosia feierte und die PriesterPriester und die LevitenLeviten und ganz JudaJuda und IsraelIsrael, das sich vorfand, und die Bewohner von JerusalemJerusalem.18 And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.9
19 Im 18. JahrJahr der Regierung JosiasJosias ist dieses PassahPassah gefeiert worden.19 In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah was this passover kept.
20 Nach allem diesem, als JosiaJosia das HausHaus eingerichtet hatte, zog NekoNeko, der König von Ägypten, hinauf, um gegen7 KarchemisKarchemis am Phrat zu kämpfen; und JosiaJosia zog aus, ihm entgegen.20 After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Necho king of Egypt came up to fight against Carchemish by Euphrates: and Josiah went out against him.10
21 Da sandte er Boten zu ihm und ließ ihm sagen: Was haben wir miteinander zu schaffen, König von JudaJuda? Nicht gegen dich komme ich heute, sondern gegen das HausHaus, mit dem ich Krieg führe; und GottGott hat gesagt, dass ich eilen sollte. Steh ab von GottGott, der mit mir ist, dass er dich nicht verderbe!21 But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not.11
22 Aber JosiaJosia wandte sein Angesicht nicht von ihm ab, sondern verkleidete sich, um gegen ihn zu kämpfen; und er hörte nicht auf die WorteWorte NekosNekos, die aus dem Mund GottesGottes kamen. Und er kam in das Tal8 MegiddoMegiddo, um zu kämpfen. 22 Nevertheless Josiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight with him, and hearkened not unto the words of Necho from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.
23 Und die Schützen schossen auf den König JosiaJosia. Da sprach der König zu seinen Knechten: Bringt mich weg, denn ich bin schwer verwundet!23 And the archers shot at king Josiah; and the king said to his servants, Have me away; for I am sore wounded.12
24 Und seine KnechteKnechte brachten ihn von dem WagenWagen weg und setzten ihn auf den zweiten WagenWagen, den er hatte, und führten ihn nach JerusalemJerusalem. Und er starb und wurde in den Gräbern seiner VäterVäter begraben; und ganz JudaJuda und JerusalemJerusalem trauerten um JosiaJosia. 24 His servants therefore took him out of that chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had; and they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died, and was buried in one of the sepulchres of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah.13
25 Und JeremiaJeremia stimmte ein Klagelied über JosiaJosia an. Und alle Sänger und Sängerinnen haben in ihren KlageliedernKlageliedern von JosiaJosia geredet bis auf den heutigen TagTag; und man machte sie zu einem Gebrauch in IsraelIsrael. Und siehe, sie sind geschrieben in den KlageliedernKlageliedern.25 And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women spake of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.
26 Und das Übrige der Geschichte JosiasJosias und seine guten9 Taten, nach dem, was im GesetzGesetz des HERRN geschrieben steht,26 Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and his goodness, according to that which was written in the law of the LORD,14
27 und seine Geschichte, die erste und die letzte, siehe, sie ist geschrieben in dem BuchBuch der KönigeKönige von IsraelIsrael und JudaJuda. 27 And his deeds, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
