1 Und1 SalomoSalomo fing an, das HausHaus des HERRN zu bauen in JerusalemJerusalem, auf dem BergBerg MorijaMorija, wo er seinem VaterVater DavidDavid erschienen war2, an dem Ort, den DavidDavid bereitet hatte, auf der Tenne OrnansOrnans, des JebusitersJebusiters.1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the LORD appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.1
2 Und er fing an zu bauen im 2. Monat, am 2.3 TagTag, im 4. JahrJahr seiner Regierung. 2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Und dies war die Grundlage, die SalomoSalomo zum Bau des Hauses GottesGottes legte: die Länge, nach dem früheren4 Ellenmaß, 60 Ellen, und die Breite 20 Ellen.3 Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.2
4 Und die HalleHalle, die der Länge nach vor der Breite des Hauses war, 20 Ellen, und die HöheHöhe 120.5; und er überzog sie innen mit reinem GoldGold.4 And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5 Und das große Haus6 bekleidete er mit Zypressenholz und bekleidete es mit gutem GoldGold; und er brachte Palmen und KettenKetten darauf an.5 And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
6 Und er überzog das HausHaus mit kostbaren Steinen zum SchmuckSchmuck; das GoldGold aber war GoldGold von ParwaimParwaim.6 And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.3
7 Und er bekleidete das HausHaus, die Balken der DeckeDecke, die Schwellen und seine Wände und seine Türflügel mit GoldGold; und er schnitzte CherubimCherubim ein an den Wänden.7 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
8 Und er machte das HausHaus des Allerheiligsten. Seine Länge, vor der Breite des Hauses her, war 20 Ellen, und seine Breite 20 Ellen; und er bekleidete es mit gutem GoldGold, ungefähr 600 TalenteTalente.8 And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
9 Und das Gewicht der NägelNägel war ungefähr 50 SekelSekel GoldGold. Auch die Obergemächer bekleidete er mit GoldGold.9 And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.
10 Und er machte im HausHaus des Allerheiligsten zwei CherubimCherubim, ein Werk von Bildhauerarbeit; und man überzog sie mit GoldGold.10 And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.4
11 Und die FlügelFlügel der CherubimCherubim – ihre Länge war 20 Ellen: der FlügelFlügel des einen, von 5 Ellen, rührte an die Wand des Hauses; und der andere FlügelFlügel, von 5 Ellen, rührte an den FlügelFlügel des anderen CherubsCherubs;11 And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 und der FlügelFlügel des anderen CherubsCherubs, von 5 Ellen, rührte an die Wand des Hauses; und der andere FlügelFlügel, von 5 Ellen, stieß an den FlügelFlügel des einen CherubsCherubs.12 And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
13 Die FlügelFlügel dieser CherubimCherubim maßen ausgebreitet 20 Ellen; und sie selbst standen auf ihren Füßen, und ihre Angesichter waren dem HausHaus zugewandt.13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.5
14 Und er machte den VorhangVorhang von blauem und rotem PurpurPurpur und KarmesinKarmesin und ByssusByssus und brachte CherubimCherubim darauf an.14 And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.6
15 Und7 er machte vor dem HausHaus zwei Säulen; 35 Ellen die Länge; und das KapitälKapitäl, das auf ihrer Spitze war, maß 5 Ellen. 15 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.7
16 Und er machte KettenKetten im Sprachort8 und tat sie an die Spitze der Säulen; und er machte 100 GranatäpfelGranatäpfel und tat sie an die KettenKetten. 16 And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
17 Und er richtete die Säulen vor dem TempelTempel auf, eine zur Rechten und eine zur Linken; und er gab der rechten den NamenNamen Jakin9 und der linken den NamenNamen Boas10. 17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.89
