1 Und er machte einen kupfernen AltarAltar: 20 Ellen seine Länge, und 20 Ellen seine Breite, und 10 Ellen seine HöheHöhe.1 Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.
2 Und1 er machte das MeerMeer, gegossen, 10 Ellen von seinem einen Rand bis zu seinem anderen Rand, gerundet ringsum, und 5 Ellen seine HöheHöhe; und eine Schnur von 30 Ellen umfasste es ringsum.2 Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.1
3 Und unter demselben waren Gleichnisse von Rindern2, die es ringsherum umgaben, 10 auf die ElleElle, das MeerMeer ringsum einschließend; der Rinder3 waren zwei Reihen, gegossen aus einem Guss mit demselben. 3 And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.
4 Es stand auf zwölf RindernRindern; drei wandten sich nach NordenNorden, und drei wandten sich nach WestenWesten, und drei wandten sich nach SüdenSüden, und drei wandten sich nach OstenOsten; und das MeerMeer war auf denselben, oben darüber, und alle ihre Hinterteile waren nach innen gekehrt.4 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
5 Und seine Dicke war eine Hand breit, und sein Rand wie die Arbeit eines Becherrandes, wie eine Lilienblüte; an Inhalt fasste es 3000 Bath. 5 And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.2
6 Und er machte 10 BeckenBecken, und er setzte 5 zur Rechten und 5 zur Linken, um darin zu waschen; was zum BrandopferBrandopfer gehört spülte man darin ab. Und das MeerMeer war für die PriesterPriester, um sich darin zu waschen. 6 He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.3
7 Und er machte die 10 goldenen Leuchter4, nach ihrer Vorschrift, und er setzte sie in den TempelTempel, 5 zur Rechten und 5 zur Linken. 7 And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
8 Und er machte 10 Tische und stellte sie in den TempelTempel, 5 zur Rechten und 5 zur Linken; und er machte 100 goldene Sprengschalen. 8 He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.4
9 Und er machte den Hof der PriesterPriester und den großen Vorhof5, und die Türen6 zu dem Vorhof; und ihre FlügelFlügel überzog er mit KupferKupfer.9 Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.
10 Und das MeerMeer setzte er auf die rechte Seite ostwärts nach SüdenSüden.10 And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.
11 Und HuramHuram machte die Töpfe und die Schaufeln und die Sprengschalen. – Und so vollendete HuramHuram das Werk7, das er für den König SalomoSalomo im HausHaus GottesGottes machte:11 And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;56
12 zwei Säulen und die krugförmigen KapitäleKapitäle8 auf der Spitze der beiden Säulen; und die zwei NetzwerkeNetzwerke zur Bedeckung der beiden krugförmigen KapitäleKapitäle, die auf der Spitze der Säulen waren; 12 To wit, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars;
13 und die 400 GranatäpfelGranatäpfel zu den beiden Netzwerken: zwei Reihen GranatäpfelGranatäpfel zu jedem NetzwerkNetzwerk, zur Bedeckung der beiden krugförmigen KapitäleKapitäle, die oben auf den Säulen waren; 13 And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.7
14 und er machte die Gestelle und machte die BeckenBecken auf den Gestellen;14 He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;8

16 und die Töpfe und die Schaufeln und die Gabeln. Und alle ihre9 Geräte machte Huram-Abiw dem König SalomoSalomo für das HausHaus des HERRN von geglättetem KupferKupfer.16 The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.9
17 Im Jordankreis ließ der König sie gießen in dichter ErdeErde, zwischen SukkotSukkot und ZeredathaZeredatha.17 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.10
18 Und SalomoSalomo machte alle diese Geräte in sehr großer Menge; denn das Gewicht des Erzes wurde nicht untersucht. 18 Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.
19 Und SalomoSalomo machte alle die Geräte, die im HausHaus GottesGottes waren: und zwar den goldenen AltarAltar; und die Tische, auf denen die SchaubroteSchaubrote waren;19 And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;
20 und die LeuchterLeuchter und ihre Lampen, um sie nach der Vorschrift vor dem SprachortSprachort anzuzünden, von geläutertem GoldGold;20 Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;
21 und die Blumen und die Lampen und die Lichtschneuzen aus GoldGold (es war lauter GoldGold10);21 And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;11
22 und die Lichtmesser und die Sprengschalen und die Schalen und die Räucherpfannen von geläutertem GoldGold; und den Eingang des Hauses: seine inneren Türflügel, die des Allerheiligsten, und die Flügeltüren des Hauses, des TempelsTempels, aus GoldGold. 22 And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.12
