1 Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, iss was du findest; iss diese Rolle, und geh hin, rede zu dem HausHaus IsraelIsrael. 1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
2 Und ich öffnete meinen Mund, und er gab mir diese Rolle zu essen.2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
3 Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, speise deinen Bauch und fülle deinen Leib mit dieser Rolle, die ich dir gebe. Und ich aß sie, und sie war in meinem Mund süß wie HonigHonig.3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
4 Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn! Auf, geh hin zu dem HausHaus IsraelIsrael und rede zu ihnen mit meinen Worten! 4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
5 Denn nicht zu einem Volk von unverständlicher Sprache und schwieriger Rede bist du gesandt, sondern zum HausHaus IsraelIsrael;5 For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;1
6 nicht zu vielen Völkern von unverständlicher Sprache und schwieriger Rede, deren WorteWorte du nicht verstehst, sondern zu ihnen habe ich dich gesandt; sie können auf dich hören1.6 Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.23
7 Aber das HausHaus IsraelIsrael wird nicht auf dich hören wollen, denn sie wollen nicht auf mich hören. Denn das ganze HausHaus IsraelIsrael ist von harter StirnStirn und verstockten Herzens. 7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.4
8 Siehe, ich habe dein Angesicht hart gemacht gegenüber ihrem Angesicht, und deine StirnStirn hart gegenüber ihrer StirnStirn;8 Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.
9 wie einen DiamantDiamant, der härter ist als ein FelsFels, habe ich deine StirnStirn gemacht. Fürchte sie nicht und erschrick nicht vor ihrem Angesicht, denn ein widerspenstiges HausHaus sind sie.9 As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
10 Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, alle meine WorteWorte, die ich zu dir reden werde, nimm in dein HerzHerz auf und höre sie mit deinen Ohren;10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.
11 und mach dich auf, geh hin zu den Weggeführten, zu den KindernKindern deines Volkes, und rede zu ihnen und sprich zu ihnen: „So spricht der HerrHerr, HERRHERR!“ Sie mögen hören oder es lassen.11 And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
12 Und der GeistGeist hob mich empor; und ich hörte hinter mir den Schall eines starken Getöses: „Gepriesen sei die HerrlichkeitHerrlichkeit des HERRN von ihrer Stätte her!“12 Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place.
13 und das Rauschen der FlügelFlügel der lebendigen WesenWesen, die einander berührten, und das Sausen der RäderRäder neben ihnen2, und den Schall eines starken Getöses.13 I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing.5
14 Und der GeistGeist hob mich empor und nahm mich weg; und ich fuhr dahin, erbittert in der Glut meines GeistesGeistes; und die Hand des HERRN war stark auf mir.14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.67
15 Und ich kam nach Tel-AbibTel-Abib zu den Weggeführten, die am FlussFluss KebarKebar wohnten; und dort, wo sie saßen, dort saß ich sieben TageTage betäubt3 in ihrer Mitte.15 Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.
16 Und es geschah am Ende von sieben Tagen, da erging das WortWort des HERRN an mich, indem er sprach:16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
17 Menschensohn, ich habe dich dem HausHaus IsraelIsrael zum Wächter gesetzt; und du sollst das WortWort aus meinem Mund hören und sie von meinetwegen warnen.17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
18 Wenn ich zu dem Gottlosen spreche: Du sollst gewisslich sterben; und du warnst ihn nicht und redest nicht, um den Gottlosen vor seinem gottlosen Weg zu warnen, um ihn am LebenLeben zu erhalten, so wird er, der Gottlose, wegen seiner4 Ungerechtigkeit sterben, aber sein BlutBlut werde ich von deiner Hand fordern. 18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19 Wenn du aber den Gottlosen warnst, und er kehrt nicht um von seiner Gottlosigkeit und von seinem gottlosen Weg, so wird er wegen seiner5 Ungerechtigkeit sterben; du aber hast deine SeeleSeele errettet.19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20 Und wenn ein Gerechter von seiner GerechtigkeitGerechtigkeit umkehrt und unrecht tut und ich einen AnstoßAnstoß vor ihn lege, so soll er sterben. Wenn du ihn nicht warnst, so wird er wegen seiner6 SündeSünde sterben, und seiner gerechten Taten7, die er getan hat, wird nicht gedacht werden; aber sein BlutBlut werde ich von deiner Hand fordern.20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.8
21 Wenn du aber ihn, den Gerechten, warnst, damit der Gerechte nicht sündige, und er sündigt nicht, so wird er gewisslich leben, weil er sich hat warnen lassen; und du, du hast deine SeeleSeele errettet.21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
22 Und die Hand des HERRN kam dort über mich, und er sprach zu mir: Mach dich auf, geh hinaus in das Tal8, und dort will ich mit dir reden. 22 And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.
23 Und ich machte mich auf und ging hinaus in das TalTal; und siehe, dort stand die HerrlichkeitHerrlichkeit des HERRN, gleich der HerrlichkeitHerrlichkeit, die ich am FlussFluss KebarKebar gesehen hatte; und ich fiel nieder auf mein Angesicht. 23 Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.
24 Und der GeistGeist kam in mich und stellte mich auf meine Füße. Und er redete mit mir und sprach zu mir: Geh, schließ dich in deinem HausHaus ein.24 Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thine house.
25 Und du, Menschensohn, siehe, man wird dir Stricke anlegen und dich damit binden, dass du nicht wirst hinausgehen können in ihre Mitte.25 But thou, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them:
26 Und ich werde deine Zunge an deinem Gaumen kleben lassen, damit du verstummst und sie nicht mehr zurechtweist9; denn ein widerspenstiges HausHaus sind sie.26 And I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house.9
27 Wenn ich aber mit dir reden werde, will ich deinen Mund öffnen, und du sollst zu ihnen sprechen: „So spricht der HerrHerr, HERRHERR!“ Wer hören will, der höre, und wer es lässt, der lasse es;ERR: Wer ... der lasse es!“">10 denn ein widerspenstiges HausHaus sind sie.27 But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
