1 Und das WortWort des HERRN erging an mich, indem er sprach:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Menschensohn, richte dein Angesicht gegen GogGog vom Land Magog1, den Fürsten von RoschRosch, MesechMesech und TubalTubal2, und weissage gegen ihn2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,1
3 und sprich: So spricht der HerrHerr, HERRHERR: Siehe, ich will an dich, GogGog, FürstFürst von RoschRosch, MesechMesech und TubalTubal.3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
4 Und ich werde dich herumlenken3 und Haken in deine Kinnbacken legen; und ich werde dich herausführen und dein ganzes Heer, PferdePferde und Reiter, allesamt prächtig gekleidet, eine große Schar mit SchildSchild und TartscheTartsche, die SchwerterSchwerter führen allesamt:4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
5 PerserPerser, Äthiopier und PutPut mit ihnen, allesamt mit SchildSchild und HelmHelm;5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:2
6 GomerGomer und alle seine Haufen, das HausHaus TogarmaTogarma im äußersten NordenNorden und alle seine Haufen; viele Völker mit dir. 6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
7 Rüste dich und rüste dir zu, du und alle deine Scharen, die sich zu dir versammelt haben, und sei ihr Anführer! 7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
8 Nach vielen Tagen sollst du heimgesucht werden: Am Ende der JahreJahre sollst du in das Land kommen, das vom SchwertSchwert wiederhergestellt, das aus vielen Völkern gesammelt ist, auf die BergeBerge IsraelsIsraels, die beständig verödet waren; und es ist herausgeführt aus den Völkern, und sie wohnen in Sicherheit allesamt.8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
9 Und du sollst heraufziehen, wie ein Sturm herankommen, sollst wie eine WolkeWolke sein, um das Land zu bedecken, du und alle deine Haufen und viele Völker mit dir. 9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
10 So spricht der HerrHerr, HERRHERR: Und es wird geschehen an jenem TagTag, da werden Dinge in deinem Herzen aufsteigen, und du wirst einen bösen Anschlag ersinnen 10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:3
11 und sprechen: Ich will hinaufziehen in das Land der offenen Städte, will über die kommen, die in RuheRuhe sind, in Sicherheit wohnen, die allesamt ohne Mauern wohnen und RiegelRiegel und ToreTore nicht haben: 11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,4
12 um RaubRaub zu raubenrauben und BeuteBeute zu erbeuten, um deine Hand zu kehren gegen die wiederbewohnten Trümmer4 und gegen ein Volk, das aus den NationenNationen gesammelt ist, das Hab und Gut erworben hat, das den Mittelpunkt5 der ErdeErde bewohnt.12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.56
13 SchebaScheba und DedanDedan und die Kaufleute von TarsisTarsis und alle ihre jungen Löwen6 werden zu dir sagen: Kommst du, um RaubRaub zu raubenrauben? Hast du deine Scharen versammelt, um BeuteBeute zu erbeuten, um SilberSilber und GoldGold wegzuführen, Hab und Gut wegzunehmen, um einen großen RaubRaub zu raubenrauben?13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
14 Darum, weissage, Menschensohn, und sprich zu GogGog: So spricht der HerrHerr, HERRHERR: Wirst du es an jenem TagTag nicht wissen, wenn mein Volk IsraelIsrael in Sicherheit wohnt?14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
15 Und du wirst von deinem Ort kommen, vom äußersten NordenNorden her, du und viele Völker mit dir, auf Pferden reitend allesamt, eine große Schar und ein zahlreiches Heer.15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16 Und du wirst gegen mein Volk IsraelIsrael heraufziehen wie eine WolkeWolke, um das Land zu bedecken. Am Ende der TageTage wird es geschehen, dass ich dich heranbringen werde gegen7 mein Land, damit die NationenNationen mich erkennen, wenn ich mich an dir, GogGog, vor ihren AugenAugen heilige8.16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
17 So spricht der HerrHerr, HERRHERR: Bist du der, von dem ich in vergangenen Tagen geredet habe durch meine KnechteKnechte, die ProphetenPropheten IsraelsIsraels, die in jenen Tagen jahrelang weissagten, dass ich dich gegen sie heranbringen würde?17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?7
18 Und es wird geschehen an diesem TagTag, an dem TagTag, wenn GogGog in das Land IsraelIsrael kommt, spricht der HerrHerr, HERRHERR, da wird mein Grimm in meiner Nase aufsteigen. 18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
19 Und in meinem EiferEifer, im FeuerFeuer meines ZornsZorns habe ich geredet: Wahrlich, an diesem TagTag wird ein großes Beben sein im Land IsraelIsrael! 19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20 Und es werden vor mir beben die FischeFische des MeeresMeeres und die VögelVögel des HimmelsHimmels und die TiereTiere des Feldes und alles Gewürm, das sich auf dem Erdboden regt, und alle Menschen, die auf der Fläche des Erdbodens sind; und die BergeBerge werden niedergerissen werden, und die steilen Höhen werden einstürzen, und jede Mauer wird zu Boden fallen.20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.8
21 Und ich werde nach allen meinen Bergen hin das SchwertSchwert über9 ihn herbeirufen, spricht der HerrHerr, HERRHERR; das SchwertSchwert des einen wird gegen den anderen sein.21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.
22 Und ich werde GerichtGericht an ihm üben durch die PestPest und durch BlutBlut; und einen überschwemmenden RegenRegen und Hagelsteine, FeuerFeuer und SchwefelSchwefel werde ich regnen lassen auf ihn und auf seine Haufen und auf die vielen Völker, die mit ihm sind. 22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23 Und ich werde mich groß und heilig erweisen und werde mich offenbaren vor den AugenAugen vieler NationenNationen. Und sie werden wissen, dass ich der HERR bin. 23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
