1 Und du, Menschensohn, nimm dir einen Ziegelstein und lege ihn vor dich hin, und zeichne darauf eine Stadt, JerusalemJerusalem.1 Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:
2 Und mache eine Belagerung gegen sie und baue Belagerungstürme gegen sie und schütte gegen sie einen Wall auf und stelle Heerlager gegen sie und errichte Sturmböcke gegen sie ringsum. 2 And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.1
3 Und du, nimm dir eine eiserne PfannePfanne und stelle sie als eine eiserne Mauer zwischen dich und die Stadt; und richte dein Angesicht gegen sie, dass sie in Belagerung sei und du sie belagerst. Das sei ein Wahrzeichen dem HausHaus IsraelIsrael.3 Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.2
4 Und du, lege dich auf deine linke Seite und lege darauf die Ungerechtigkeit1 des Hauses IsraelIsrael: Nach der Zahl der TageTage, die du darauf liegst, sollst du ihre Ungerechtigkeit tragen.4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
5 Denn ich habe dir die JahreJahre ihrer Ungerechtigkeit zu einer Anzahl TageTage gemacht: 390 TageTage. Und du sollst die Ungerechtigkeit des Hauses IsraelIsrael tragen.5 For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6 Und hast du diese vollendet, so lege dich zum zweiten auf deine rechte Seite und trage die Ungerechtigkeit des Hauses JudaJuda 40 TageTage; je einen TagTag für ein JahrJahr habe ich dir auferlegt2. – 6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.3
7 Und du sollst dein Angesicht und deinen entblößten ArmArm gegen die Belagerung JerusalemsJerusalems hin richten3, und du sollst gegen dasselbe weissagen.7 Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
8 Und siehe, ich lege dir Stricke an, dass du dich nicht von einer Seite auf die andere wirst umwenden können, bis du die TageTage deiner Belagerung vollendet hast. 8 And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.4
9 Und du, nimm dir WeizenWeizen und GersteGerste und BohnenBohnen und LinsenLinsen und HirseHirse und SpeltSpelt, und tu sie in ein Gefäß; und mache dir BrotBrot daraus nach der Zahl der TageTage, die du auf deiner Seite liegst: 390 TageTage sollst du davon essen. 9 Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.5
10 Und deine Speise, die du essen wirst, soll nach dem Gewicht sein: 20 SekelSekel für den TagTag; von ZeitZeit zu ZeitZeit sollst du davon essen.10 And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
11 Und Wasser sollst du nach dem MaßMaß trinken: Ein Sechstel Hin; von ZeitZeit zu ZeitZeit sollst du trinken. 11 Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.
12 Und wie Gerstenkuchen sollst du sie4 essen, und du sollst sie auf Ballen von Menschenkot vor ihren AugenAugen backen.12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.
13 Und der HERR sprach: So werden die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael ihr BrotBrot unrein essen unter den NationenNationen, wohin ich sie vertreiben werde. –13 And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
14 Da sprach ich: Ach, HerrHerr, HERRHERR! Siehe, meine SeeleSeele ist nie verunreinigt worden, und weder Aas noch Zerrissenes habe ich gegessen von meiner Jugend an bis jetzt, und kein Gräuelfleisch ist in meinen Mund gekommen.14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
15 Und er sprach zu mir: Siehe, ich habe dir Rindermist statt Menschenkot gestattet; und darauf magst du dein BrotBrot bereiten.515 Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.
16 Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, siehe, ich will in JerusalemJerusalem den Stab6 des BrotesBrotes zerbrechen; und sie werden BrotBrot essen nach dem Gewicht und in Angst, und Wasser trinken nach dem MaßMaß und in Entsetzen, 16 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:
17 weil BrotBrot und Wasser mangeln werden und sie miteinander verschmachten und in ihrer7 Ungerechtigkeit hinschwinden werden.17 That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
