1 Dies sind die SatzungenSatzungen und die Rechte, die ihr beobachten sollt, sie zu tun in dem Land, das der HERR, der GottGott deiner VäterVäter, dir gegeben hat, es zu besitzen alle die TageTage, die ihr auf dem Erdboden lebt: 1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
2 Ihr sollt alle die Orte gänzlich zerstören, wo die NationenNationen, die ihr austreiben werdet, ihren GötternGöttern gedient haben: auf den hohen Bergen und auf den Hügeln und unter jedem grünen Baum; 2 Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:1
3 und ihr sollt ihre Altäre niederreißen und ihre Bildsäulen zerbrechen und ihre AscherimAscherim mit FeuerFeuer verbrennen und die geschnitzten BilderBilder ihrer GötterGötter umhauen; und ihr sollt ihre NamenNamen aus diesem Ort vertilgen. 3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.2
4 Dem HERRN, eurem GottGott, sollt ihr nicht so tun;4 Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.
5 sondern den Ort sollt ihr aufsuchen, den der HERR, euer GottGott, aus allen euren Stämmen erwählen wird, um seinen NamenNamen dahin zu setzen, dass er dort wohne, und dahin sollst du kommen.5 But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
6 Und ihr sollt dahin bringen eure BrandopferBrandopfer und eure SchlachtopferSchlachtopfer und eure Zehnten und das HebopferHebopfer eurer Hand und eure GelübdeGelübde und eure freiwilligen Gaben, und die Erstgeborenen eures Rind- und eures Kleinviehs;6 And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:
7 und dort sollt ihr vor dem HERRN, eurem GottGott, essen und euch erfreuen, ihr und eure Häuser, an allem Geschäft eurer Hand, worin der HERR, dein GottGott, dich gesegnet hat. 7 And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.
8 Ihr sollt nicht tun nach allem, was wir heute hier tun, jeder, was irgend recht ist in seinen AugenAugen;8 Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
9 denn ihr seid bis jetzt noch nicht zu der RuheRuhe und zu dem ErbteilErbteil gekommen, das der HERR, dein GottGott, dir gibt.9 For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.
10 Seid ihr aber über den JordanJordan gezogen und wohnt ihr in dem Land, das der HERR, euer GottGott, euch erben lässt, und er schafft euch RuheRuhe vor allen euren Feinden ringsum, und ihr wohnt sicher,10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;
11 so soll es geschehen: Der Ort, den der HERR, euer GottGott, erwählen wird, seinen NamenNamen dort wohnen zu lassen, dahin sollt ihr alles bringen, was ich euch gebiete: eure BrandopferBrandopfer und eure SchlachtopferSchlachtopfer, eure Zehnten und das HebopferHebopfer eurer Hand, und alle Auswahl eurer GelübdeGelübde, die ihr dem HERRN geloben werdet.11 Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:3
12 Und ihr sollt euch freuen vor dem HERRN, eurem GottGott, ihr und eure Söhne und eure Töchter und eure KnechteKnechte und eure Mägde und der LevitLevit, der in euren Toren ist, denn er hat kein Teil noch ErbeErbe mit euch. 12 And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.
13 Hüte dich, dass du nicht deine BrandopferBrandopfer an jedem Ort opferst, den du siehst!13 Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:
14 Sondern an dem Ort, den der HERR in einem deiner StämmeStämme erwählen wird, dort sollst du deine BrandopferBrandopfer opfern und dort alles tun, was ich dir gebiete.14 But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.
15 Doch magst du nach allem Begehr deiner SeeleSeele schlachten und FleischFleisch essen in allen deinen Toren, nach dem Segen des HERRN, deines GottesGottes, den er dir gegeben hat: Der Unreine und der Reine mögen es essen, wie die GazelleGazelle und wie den Hirsch1. 15 Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.
16 Nur das BlutBlut sollt ihr nicht essen, ihr sollt es auf die ErdeErde gießen wie Wasser. –16 Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.
17 Du darfst in deinen Toren nicht essen den Zehnten deines Getreides und deines Mostes und deines Öls, noch die Erstgeborenen deines Rind- und deines Kleinviehs, noch alle deine GelübdeGelübde, die du tust, noch deine freiwilligen Gaben, noch das HebopferHebopfer deiner Hand;17 Thou mayest not eat within thy gates the tithe of thy corn, or of thy wine, or of thy oil, or the firstlings of thy herds or of thy flock, nor any of thy vows which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offerings, or heave offering of thine hand:
18 sondern vor dem HERRN, deinem GottGott, an dem Ort, den der HERR, dein GottGott, erwählen wird, sollst du es essen, du und dein SohnSohn und deine TochterTochter und dein KnechtKnecht und deine MagdMagd, und der LevitLevit, der in deinen Toren ist; und du sollst dich vor dem HERRN, deinem GottGott, erfreuen an allem Geschäft deiner Hand. 18 But thou must eat them before the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God in all that thou puttest thine hands unto.
19 Hüte dich, dass du den LevitenLeviten nicht verlässt, alle deine TageTage in deinem Land.19 Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth.4
20 Wenn der HERR, dein GottGott, dein Gebiet erweitern wird, so wie er zu dir geredet hat, und du sprichst: Ich will FleischFleisch essen, weil deine SeeleSeele FleischFleisch zu essen begehrt, so magst du FleischFleisch essen nach allem Begehr deiner SeeleSeele. 20 When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
21 Wenn der Ort, den der HERR, dein GottGott, erwählen wird, um seinen NamenNamen dahin zu setzen, fern von dir ist, so magst du schlachten von deinem Rind- und von deinem Kleinvieh, das der HERR dir gegeben hat, so wie ich dir geboten habe, und in deinen Toren essen nach allem Begehr deiner SeeleSeele; 21 If the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to put his name there be too far from thee, then thou shalt kill of thy herd and of thy flock, which the LORD hath given thee, as I have commanded thee, and thou shalt eat in thy gates whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
22 gerade so wie die GazelleGazelle und der HirschHirsch gegessen werden, so magst du es essen: der Unreine und der Reine mögen es beide essen. 22 Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so thou shalt eat them: the unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.
23 Nur halte daran fest, kein BlutBlut zu essen, denn das BlutBlut ist die SeeleSeele2; und du sollst nicht die SeeleSeele mit dem FleischFleisch essen;23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh.5
24 du sollst es nicht essen, du sollst es auf die ErdeErde gießen wie Wasser;24 Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water.
25 du sollst es nicht essen, damit es dir und deinen KindernKindern nach dir wohlgehe, weil du tust was recht ist in den AugenAugen des HERRN. 25 Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.
26 Jedoch deine heiligen Dinge, die du haben wirst, und deine GelübdeGelübde sollst du nehmen und an den Ort kommen, den der HERR erwählen wird;26 Only thy holy things which thou hast, and thy vows, thou shalt take, and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose:
27 und deine BrandopferBrandopfer, das FleischFleisch und das BlutBlut, sollst du auf dem AltarAltar des HERRN, deines GottesGottes, opfern; und das BlutBlut deiner SchlachtopferSchlachtopfer soll an3 den AltarAltar des HERRN, deines GottesGottes, gegossen werden, und das FleischFleisch magst du essen.27 And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.
28 Habe acht und höre auf alle diese WorteWorte, die ich dir gebiete, damit es dir und deinen KindernKindern nach dir wohlgehe ewiglich, weil du tust, was gut und recht ist in den AugenAugen des HERRN, deines GottesGottes. 28 Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD thy God.
29 Wenn der HERR, dein GottGott, die NationenNationen vor dir ausrottet, zu denen du kommst, um sie auszutreiben, und du treibst sie aus und wohnst in ihrem Land, 29 When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;6
30 so hüte dich, dass du nicht verstrickt wirst ihnen nach, nachdem sie vor dir vertilgt sind, und dass du nicht fragst nach ihren GötternGöttern und sprichst: Wie dienten diese NationenNationen ihren GötternGöttern? So will auch ich ebenso tun. 30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.7
31 Dem HERRN, deinem GottGott, sollst du nicht so tun; denn alles, was für den HERRN ein GräuelGräuel ist, den er hasst, haben sie ihren GötternGöttern getan; denn sogar ihre Söhne und ihre Töchter haben sie ihren GötternGöttern mit FeuerFeuer verbrannt.31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.8
