1 Und der HERR sprach zu MoseMose: Siehe, ich habe dich dem PharaoPharao zum GottGott gesetzt, und dein BruderBruder AaronAaron soll dein Prophet1 sein.1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.
2 Du sollst alles reden, was ich dir gebieten werde, und dein BruderBruder AaronAaron soll zu dem PharaoPharao reden, dass er die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael aus seinem Land ziehen lasse. 2 Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.
3 Und ich will das HerzHerz des PharaosPharaos verhärten und meine ZeichenZeichen und meine WunderWunder vermehren im Land Ägypten.3 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.
4 Und der PharaoPharao wird nicht auf euch hören; und ich werde meine Hand an Ägypten legen, und meine Heere, mein Volk, die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael, aus dem Land Ägypten herausführen durch große GerichteGerichte.4 But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
5 Und die Ägypter sollen erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin, wenn ich meine Hand über Ägypten ausstrecke und die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael aus ihrer Mitte herausführe.5 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
6 Und MoseMose und AaronAaron taten es; so wie der HERR ihnen geboten hatte, so taten sie.6 And Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them, so did they.
7 Und MoseMose war 80 JahreJahre alt, und AaronAaron 83 JahreJahre alt, als sie zu dem PharaoPharao redeten. 7 And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.
8 Und der HERR redete zu MoseMose und zu AaronAaron und sprach:8 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
9 Wenn der PharaoPharao zu euch reden und sagen wird: Tut ein WunderWunder für euch!, so sollst du zu AaronAaron sagen: Nimm deinen Stab und wirf ihn hin vor dem PharaoPharao; er soll zur SchlangeSchlange werden.9 When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.
10 Und MoseMose und AaronAaron gingen zu dem PharaoPharao hinein und taten so, wie der HERR geboten hatte; und AaronAaron warf seinen Stab hin vor dem PharaoPharao und vor seinen Knechten, und er wurde zur SchlangeSchlange. 10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
11 Da berief auch der PharaoPharao die Weisen und die ZaubererZauberer; und auch sie, die Schriftgelehrten Ägyptens, taten so mit ihren Zauberkünsten 11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.
12 und warfen jeder seinen Stab hin, und sie wurden zu Schlangen; aber AaronsAarons Stab verschlang ihre Stäbe.12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.
13 Und das HerzHerz des PharaosPharaos verhärtete sich, und er hörte nicht auf sie, so wie der HERR geredet hatte.13 And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.
14 Und der HERR sprach zu MoseMose: Das HerzHerz des PharaosPharaos ist verstockt; er weigert sich, das Volk ziehen zu lassen.14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.
15 Geh am MorgenMorgen zum PharaoPharao – siehe, er wird ans Wasser hinausgehen – und tritt ihm entgegen an dem Ufer des Stromes, und nimm den Stab, der in eine SchlangeSchlange verwandelt worden, in deine Hand 15 Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river's brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.
16 und sprich zu ihm: Der HERR, der GottGott der HebräerHebräer, hat mich zu dir gesandt und gesagt: Lass mein Volk ziehen, dass sie mir dienen in der WüsteWüste! Aber siehe, du hast bisher nicht gehört.16 And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.
17 So spricht der HERR: Daran sollst du erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin: Siehe, ich will mit dem Stab, der in meiner Hand ist, auf das Wasser schlagen, das in dem Strom ist, und es wird in BlutBlut verwandelt werden.17 Thus saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.
18 Und die FischeFische, die im Strom sind, werden sterben, und der Strom wird stinken, und die Ägypter wird es ekeln, Wasser aus dem Strom zu trinken.18 And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river.
19 Und der HERR sprach zu MoseMose: Sprich zu AaronAaron: Nimm deinen Stab und strecke deine Hand aus über die Wasser Ägyptens, über seine Flüsse, über seine Kanäle und über seine TeicheTeiche und über alle seine Wassersammlungen, dass sie zu BlutBlut werden; und es wird BlutBlut sein im ganzen Land Ägypten, sowohl in hölzernen, als auch in steinernen Gefäßen.19 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.1
20 Und MoseMose und AaronAaron taten so, wie der HERR geboten hatte; und er erhob den Stab und schlug das Wasser, das im Strom war, vor den AugenAugen des PharaosPharaos und vor den AugenAugen seiner KnechteKnechte. Da wurde alles Wasser, das im Strom war, in BlutBlut verwandelt;20 And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.
21 und die FischeFische, die im Strom waren, starben, und der Strom wurde stinkend, und die Ägypter konnten das Wasser aus dem Strom nicht trinken; und das BlutBlut war im ganzen Land Ägypten.21 And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.
22 Und die Schriftgelehrten Ägyptens taten ebenso mit ihren Zauberkünsten; und das HerzHerz des PharaosPharaos verhärtete sich, und er hörte nicht auf sie, so wie der HERR geredet hatte. 22 And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said.
23 Und der PharaoPharao wandte sich und ging in sein HausHaus und nahm auch dies nicht zu Herzen. 23 And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he set his heart to this also.
24 Und alle Ägypter gruben rings um den Strom nach Wasser zum Trinken, denn von dem Wasser des Stromes konnten sie nicht trinken. 24 And all the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river.
25 Und es wurden sieben TageTage erfüllt, nachdem der HERR den Strom geschlagen hatte.25 And seven days were fulfilled, after that the LORD had smitten the river.
26 Und der HERR sprach zu MoseMose: Geh zu dem PharaoPharao hinein und sprich zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Lass mein Volk ziehen, dass sie mir dienen! 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
27 Und wenn du dich weigerst, es ziehen zu lassen, siehe, so will ich dein ganzes Gebiet mit Fröschen schlagen.2 And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:
28 Und der Strom wird von Fröschen wimmeln, und sie werden heraufsteigen und in dein HausHaus kommen und in dein SchlafgemachSchlafgemach und auf dein BettBett und in die Häuser deiner KnechteKnechte und unter dein Volk und in deine Öfen und in deine Backtröge.3 And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:2
29 Und die Frösche werden heraufkommen über dich und über dein Volk und über alle deine KnechteKnechte.4 And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.
