1 Und1 DavidDavid versammelte wiederum alle Auserlesenen in IsraelIsrael, 30000 MannMann. 1 Again, David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.
2 Und DavidDavid machte sich auf und zog hin und alles Volk, das bei ihm war, nach2 Baale-JudaBaale-Juda, um von dort die LadeLade GottesGottes heraufzubringen, die nach dem NamenNamen, dem NamenNamen des HERRN der HeerscharenHeerscharen, der zwischen3 den CherubimCherubim thront, genannt wird. 2 And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubims.12
3 Und sie stellten die LadeLade GottesGottes auf einen neuen WagenWagen und brachten sie aus dem HausHaus AbinadabsAbinadabs weg, das auf dem Hügel war4; und UssaUssa und AchjoAchjo, die Söhne AbinadabsAbinadabs, führten den neuen WagenWagen.3 And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.34
4 Und sie brachten sie aus dem HausHaus AbinadabsAbinadabs weg, das auf dem Hügel war, indem sie die LadeLade GottesGottes begleiteten5; und AchjoAchjo ging vor der LadeLade her. 4 And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab which was at Gibeah, accompanying the ark of God: and Ahio went before the ark.5
5 Und DavidDavid und das ganze HausHaus IsraelIsrael spielten vor dem HERRN mit allerlei Instrumenten von Zypressenholz6 und mit Lauten und mit Harfen und mit Tamburinen und mit Sistren7 und mit ZimbelnZimbeln. 5 And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.
6 Und als sie zur Tenne NakonsNakons kamen, da langte UssaUssa nach der LadeLade GottesGottes und fasste sie an, denn die RinderRinder hatten sich losgerissen8. 6 And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.6
7 Da entbrannte der ZornZorn des HERRN gegen UssaUssa, und GottGott schlug ihn dort wegen des Vergehens; und er starb dort bei der LadeLade GottesGottes.7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.7
8 Und DavidDavid entbrannte9 darüber, dass der HERR einen Bruch an UssaUssa gemacht hatte; und er nannte jenen Ort Perez-UssaUssa10, bis auf diesen TagTag.8 And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this day.89
9 Und DavidDavid fürchtete sich vor dem HERRN an diesem TagTag und sprach: Wie soll die LadeLade des HERRN zu mir kommen? 9 And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?
10 Und DavidDavid wollte die LadeLade des HERRN nicht zu sich einkehren lassen in die Stadt DavidsDavids; und DavidDavid ließ sie beiseite bringen in das HausHaus Obed-EdomsObed-Edoms, des GatitersGatiters.10 So David would not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.
11 Und die LadeLade des HERRN blieb in dem HausHaus Obed-EdomsObed-Edoms, des GatitersGatiters, drei MonateMonate. Und der HERR segnete Obed-EdomObed-Edom und sein ganzes HausHaus.11 And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.
12 Und11 es wurde dem König DavidDavid berichtet und gesagt: Der HERR hat das HausHaus Obed-EdomsObed-Edoms und alles, was sein ist gesegnet um der LadeLade GottesGottes willen. Da ging DavidDavid hin und holte die LadeLade GottesGottes aus dem HausHaus Obed-EdomsObed-Edoms herauf in die Stadt DavidsDavids mit Freuden.12 And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.
13 Und es geschah, wenn die Träger der LadeLade des HERRN sechs Schritte gegangen waren, so opferte er ein RindRind und ein Mastvieh.13 And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.
14 Und DavidDavid tanzte mit aller KraftKraft vor dem HERRN, und DavidDavid war mit einem leinenen EphodEphod12 umgürtet.14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.
15 Und DavidDavid und das ganze HausHaus IsraelIsrael brachten die LadeLade des HERRN hinauf mit Jauchzen und mit Posaunenschall.15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
16 Und es geschah, als die LadeLade des HERRN in die Stadt DavidsDavids kam, da schaute MichalMichal, die TochterTochter SaulsSauls, durchs FensterFenster; und sie sah den König DavidDavid vor dem HERRN hüpfen und tanzen, und sie verachtete ihn in ihrem Herzen. 16 And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.
17 Und13 sie brachten die LadeLade des HERRN hinein und stellten sie an ihren Ort innerhalb des ZeltesZeltes, das DavidDavid für sie aufgeschlagen hatte. Und DavidDavid opferte BrandopferBrandopfer und FriedensopferFriedensopfer vor dem HERRN.17 And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.10
18 Und als DavidDavid das OpfernOpfern der BrandopferBrandopfer und der FriedensopferFriedensopfer beendigt hatte, segnete er das Volk im NamenNamen des HERRN der HeerscharenHeerscharen.18 And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts.
19 Und er verteilte an das ganze Volk, an die ganze Menge IsraelsIsraels, vom MannMann bis zur FrauFrau, an jeden einen Brotkuchen und einen Trunk Wein14 und einen RosinenkuchenRosinenkuchen. Und das ganze Volk ging hin, jeder nach seinem HausHaus.19 And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house.
20 Und als DavidDavid zurückkehrte, um sein HausHaus zu segnen15, ging MichalMichal, die TochterTochter SaulsSauls, hinaus, DavidDavid entgegen, und sprach: Wie hat der König von IsraelIsrael sich heute verherrlicht, da er sich heute vor den AugenAugen der Mägde seiner KnechteKnechte entblößt hat, wie sich nur einer der losen Leute entblößt!20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!11
21 Da sprach DavidDavid zu MichalMichal: Vor dem HERRN, der mich vor deinem VaterVater und vor seinem ganzen HausHaus erwählt hat, um mich als FürstFürst zu bestellen über das Volk des HERRN, über IsraelIsrael, ja, vor dem HERRN will ich spielen16;21 And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD.
22 und ich will noch geringer17 werden als diesmal und will niedrig sein in meinen AugenAugen; aber bei den Mägden, von denen du sprichst, bei ihnen werde ich geehrt sein18.22 And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour.12
23 MichalMichal aber, die TochterTochter SaulsSauls, hatte kein Kind bis zum TagTag ihres TodesTodes.23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.
