1 Und das WortWort des HERRN der HeerscharenHeerscharen erging, indem er sprach: So spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen: 1 Again the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,
2 Ich eifere für ZionZion mit großem EiferEifer, und mit großem Grimm eifere ich für dasselbe.2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.
3 So spricht der HERR: Ich kehre nach ZionZion zurück und will inmitten JerusalemsJerusalems wohnen; und JerusalemJerusalem wird genannt werden „Stadt der WahrheitWahrheit“ und der BergBerg des HERRN der HeerscharenHeerscharen „der heilige BergBerg“.3 Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.
4 So spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen: Es werden noch Greise und Greisinnen in den Straßen von JerusalemJerusalem sitzen, jeder mit seinem Stab in seiner Hand vor Menge der TageTage.4 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.1
5 Und die Straßen der Stadt werden voll sein von Knaben und Mädchen, die auf seinen Straßen spielen.5 And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.
6 So spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen: Wenn es wunderbar ist in den AugenAugen des Überrestes dieses Volkes in jenen Tagen, wird es auch in meinen AugenAugen wunderbar sein?, spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen.6 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.2
7 So spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen: Siehe, ich werde mein Volk retten aus dem Land des AufgangsAufgangs und aus dem Land des Untergangs der SonneSonne; 7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;3
8 und ich werde sie herbeibringen, und sie werden wohnen inmitten JerusalemsJerusalems; und sie werden mein Volk, und ich werde ihr GottGott sein in WahrheitWahrheit und in GerechtigkeitGerechtigkeit.8 And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.
9 So spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen: Stärkt eure Hände, die ihr in diesen Tagen diese WorteWorte aus dem Mund der ProphetenPropheten hört, die an dem TagTag waren, da der Grund des Hauses des HERRN der HeerscharenHeerscharen, des TempelsTempels, gelegt wurde, um ihn zu erbauen!9 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
10 Denn vor diesen Tagen war kein LohnLohn für die Menschen und kein LohnLohn für das ViehVieh; und der Aus- und Eingehende hatte keinen Frieden vor dem Bedränger, und ich ließ alle Menschen gegen einander los. 10 For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.4
11 Nun aber will ich dem Überrest dieses Volkes nicht sein wie in den früheren Tagen, spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen;11 But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.
12 sondern die Saat1 des Friedens, der Weinstock, wird seine Frucht geben, und die ErdeErde ihren Ertrag geben, und der HimmelHimmel wird seinen TauTau geben; und dem Überrest dieses Volkes werde ich das alles zum ErbteilErbteil geben.12 For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.5
13 Und es wird geschehen, wie ihr, HausHaus JudaJuda und HausHaus IsraelIsrael, ein FluchFluch unter den NationenNationen gewesen seid, so werde ich euch retten, und ihr werdet ein Segen sein. Fürchtet euch nicht, stärkt eure Hände!13 And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.
14 Denn so spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen: Wie ich euch Böses zu tun gedachte, als eure VäterVäter mich erzürnten, spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen, und ich es mich nicht gereuen ließ,14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:
15 so gedenke ich wiederum in diesen Tagen JerusalemJerusalem und dem HausHaus JudaJuda Gutes zu tun. Fürchtet euch nicht! 15 So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
16 Dies sind die Dinge, die ihr tun sollt: Redet die WahrheitWahrheit einer mit dem anderen; richtet der WahrheitWahrheit gemäß und fällt einen Rechtsspruch des Friedens2 in euren Toren;16 These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:6
17 und sinnt keiner auf des anderen Unglück in euren Herzen, und falschen EidEid liebt nicht; denn alles dieses, ich hasse es, spricht der HERR.17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.
18 Und das WortWort des HERRN der HeerscharenHeerscharen erging an mich, indem er sprach:18 And the word of the LORD of hosts came unto me, saying,
19 So spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen: Das FastenFasten des 4. und das FastenFasten des 5. und das FastenFasten des 7. und das FastenFasten des 10. Monats wird dem HausHaus JudaJuda zur Wonne und zur FreudeFreude und zu fröhlichen Festzeiten werden. Doch liebt die WahrheitWahrheit und den Frieden. 19 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.7
20 So spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen: Noch wird es geschehen, dass Völker und Bewohner vieler Städte kommen werden;20 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:
21 und die Bewohner der einen werden zur anderen gehen und sagen: „Lasst uns doch hingehen, um den HERRN anzuflehen und den HERRN der HeerscharenHeerscharen zu suchen!“ „Auch ich will gehen!“21 And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also.89
22 Und viele Völker und mächtige3 NationenNationen werden kommen, um den HERRN der HeerscharenHeerscharen in JerusalemJerusalem zu suchen und den HERRN anzuflehen.22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.10
23 So spricht der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen: In jenen Tagen, da werden zehn Männer aus allerlei SprachenSprachen der NationenNationen ergreifen, ja, ergreifen werden sie den Rockzipfel eines jüdischen MannesMannes und sagen: Wir wollen mit euch gehen, denn wir haben gehört, dass GottGott mit euch ist.23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
