1 AusspruchAusspruch des WortesWortes des HERRN über das Land ChadrakChadrak; und auf DamaskusDamaskus lässt es sich nieder (denn der HERR hat ein Auge auf die Menschen und auf alle StämmeStämme IsraelsIsraels)1 The burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, shall be toward the LORD.
2 und auch auf HamatHamat, das daran grenzt, auf TyrusTyrus und SidonSidon, weil es sehr weise ist.2 And Hamath also shall border thereby; Tyrus, and Zidon, though it be very wise.
3 Und TyrusTyrus hat sich eine FestungFestung erbaut und SilberSilber gehäuft wie StaubStaub und Feingold wie Straßenkot.3 And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets.
4 Siehe, der HerrHerr wird es einnehmen und seine Macht1 im MeerMeer schlagen; und es selbst wird vom FeuerFeuer verzehrt werden.4 Behold, the Lord will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.
5 AskalonAskalon soll es sehen und sich fürchten; auch GazaGaza, und soll sehr erzittern, und EkronEkron, denn seine ZuversichtZuversicht ist zuschanden geworden. Und der König wird aus GazaGaza vertilgt, und AskalonAskalon wird nicht mehr bewohnt werden.5 Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also shall see it, and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.
6 Und ein Bastard2 wird in AsdodAsdod wohnen, und ich werde den Hochmut der PhilisterPhilister ausrotten.6 And a bastard shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.
7 Und ich werde sein BlutBlut aus seinem Mund wegtun und seine GräuelGräuel zwischen seinen Zähnen weg; und auch er3 wird übrigbleiben unserem GottGott, und wird sein wie ein Fürst4 in JudaJuda, und EkronEkron wie der JebusiterJebusiter. 7 And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite.1
8 Und ich werde für mein HausHaus ein LagerLager aufschlagen vor dem Kriegsheer, vor den Hin- und Herziehenden, und kein Bedränger5 wird sie mehr überziehen; denn jetzt habe ich hineingesehen mit meinen AugenAugen. 8 And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.
9 – Frohlocke laut, TochterTochter ZionZion; jauchze, TochterTochter JerusalemJerusalem! Siehe, dein König wird zu dir kommen: Gerecht und ein Retter6 ist er demütig7, und auf einem EselEsel reitend, und zwar auf einem Füllen, einem Jungen der Eselin. 9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.2
10 Und ich werde die WagenWagen ausrotten aus EphraimEphraim und die PferdePferde aus JerusalemJerusalem, und der Kriegsbogen wird ausgerottet werden. Und er wird Frieden reden zu den NationenNationen; und seine Herrschaft wird sein von MeerMeer zu MeerMeer und vom Strom8 bis an die Enden der ErdeErde.10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.
11 Und du – um des BlutesBlutes deines BundesBundes willen entlasse ich auch deine Gefangenen aus der GrubeGrube, in der kein Wasser ist.11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.3
12 Kehrt zur FestungFestung zurück, ihr Gefangenen der Hoffnung9! Schon heute verkündige ich, dass ich dir das Doppelte erstatten werde10.12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;
13 – Denn ich habe mir JudaJuda gespannt, den BogenBogen mit EphraimEphraim gefüllt11; und ich wecke deine Söhne, ZionZion, auf gegen deine KinderKinder, GriechenlandGriechenland, und mache dich wie das SchwertSchwert eines Helden. 13 When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man.
14 Und der HERRHERR wird über ihnen erscheinen12, und sein PfeilPfeil wird ausfahren wie der Blitz; und der HerrHerr, HERRHERR, wird in die Posaune stoßen und einherziehen in Stürmen des SüdensSüdens.14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
15 Der HERR der HeerscharenHeerscharen wird sie beschirmen; und sie werden die Schleudersteine13 verzehren und niedertreten; und sie werden trinken, lärmen wie vom WeinWein und voll werden wie die Opferschalen, wie die Ecken des AltarsAltars.15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.45
16 Und der HERR, ihr GottGott, wird sie retten an jenem TagTag, wird sein Volk retten wie eine HerdeHerde; denn Kronensteine sind sie, funkelnd auf seinem Land.16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.
17 Denn wie groß ist seine Anmut14 und wie groß seine Schönheit! Das KornKorn wird Jünglinge und der Most Jungfrauen wachsen lassen.17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.6
