1 Und JosuaJosua war alt, wohlbetagt, und der HERR sprach zu ihm: Du bist alt, wohlbetagt, und vom Land ist sehr viel übrig, in Besitz zu nehmen. 1 Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.1
2 Dies ist das Land, das noch übrig ist: alle Bezirke der PhilisterPhilister und das ganze GesuriGesuri;2 This is the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,
3 von dem SichorSichor, der vor Ägypten1 fließt, bis an die Grenze von EkronEkron im NordenNorden, wird es zu den KanaaniternKanaanitern gerechnet; die fünf Fürsten2 der PhilisterPhilister: der GaziterGaziter, der AsdoditerAsdoditer, der AskaloniterAskaloniter, der Gatiter3 und der EkroniterEkroniter, und die AwimAwim. 3 From Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: five lords of the Philistines; the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites:
4 Im SüdenSüden das4 ganze Land der KanaaniterKanaaniter und MearaMeara, das den SidoniernSidoniern gehört, bis AphekAphek, bis an die Grenze der AmoriterAmoriter;4 From the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that is beside the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the borders of the Amorites:2
5 und das Land der GibliterGibliter und der ganze LibanonLibanon gegen SonnenaufgangSonnenaufgang, von Baal-GadBaal-Gad, am Fuß des BergesBerges HermonHermon, bis man nach HamatHamat kommt;5 And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baalgad under mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.
6 alle Bewohner des GebirgesGebirges, vom LibanonLibanon bis Misrephot-MajimMisrephot-Majim, alle SidonierSidonier. Ich selbst werde sie vor den KindernKindern IsraelIsrael austreiben; nur verlose es IsraelIsrael als ErbteilErbteil, so wie ich dir geboten habe.6 All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephothmaim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.
7 Und nun verteile dieses Land als ErbteilErbteil den neun Stämmen und dem halben Stamm ManasseManasse.7 Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh,
8 Mit ihm5 haben die RubeniterRubeniter und die GaditerGaditer ihr ErbteilErbteil empfangen, das MoseMose ihnen gegeben hat jenseits des JordanJordan im OstenOsten, so wie MoseMose, der KnechtKnecht des HERRN, es ihnen gegeben hat:8 With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;
9 von AroerAroer an, das am Ufer des Flusses ArnonArnon ist, und zwar von der Stadt, die mitten im Flusstal liegt, und die ganze Ebene6 MedebaMedeba bis DibonDibon, 9 From Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;
10 und alle Städte SihonsSihons, des Königs der AmoriterAmoriter, der in HesbonHesbon regierte, bis zur Grenze der KinderKinder AmmonAmmon;10 And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;
11 und GileadGilead und das Gebiet der GesuriterGesuriter und der MaakatiterMaakatiter und den ganzen BergBerg HermonHermon und das ganze BasanBasan bis SalkaSalka,11 And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;
12 das ganze ReichReich OgsOgs in BasanBasan, der in AstarotAstarot und in EdreiEdrei regierte; (er war von dem Überrest der RephaimRephaim übriggeblieben;) und MoseMose schlug sie und trieb sie aus. 12 All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.
13 Aber die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael trieben die GesuriterGesuriter und die MaakatiterMaakatiter nicht aus; und GesurGesur und Maakat haben in der Mitte IsraelsIsraels gewohnt bis auf diesen TagTag. 13 Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.
14 Nur dem Stamm LeviLevi gab er kein ErbteilErbteil; die FeueropferFeueropfer des HERRN, des GottesGottes IsraelsIsraels, sind sein ErbteilErbteil, so wie er zu ihm geredet hat.14 Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them.
15 Und MoseMose gab dem Stamm der KinderKinder RubenRuben nach ihren GeschlechternGeschlechtern. 15 And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance according to their families.
16 Und es wurde ihnen als Gebiet zuteil: von AroerAroer an, das am Ufer des Flusses ArnonArnon ist, und zwar von der Stadt, die mitten im Flusstal liegt, und die ganze Ebene7 bei MedebaMedeba; 16 And their coast was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medeba;
17 HesbonHesbon und alle seine Städte, die in der Ebene8 sind: DibonDibon und Bamot-BaalBamot-Baal und Beth-Baal-MeonBeth-Baal-Meon,17 Heshbon, and all her cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamothbaal, and Bethbaalmeon,3
18 und JahzaJahza und KedemotKedemot und MephaatMephaat,18 And Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,
19 und KirjataimKirjataim und SibmaSibma und Zeret-SchacharZeret-Schachar auf dem BergBerg der Talebene,19 And Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zarethshahar in the mount of the valley,
20 und Beth-PeorBeth-Peor und die Abhänge des PisgaPisga und Beth-JesimotBeth-Jesimot,20 And Bethpeor, and Ashdothpisgah, and Bethjeshimoth,4
21 und alle Städte der Ebene9, und das ganze ReichReich SihonsSihons, des Königs der AmoriterAmoriter, der in HesbonHesbon regierte, den MoseMose schlug, ihn und die Fürsten von MidianMidian: EwiEwi und RekemRekem und Zur und HurHur und RebaReba, die Herrscher10 SihonsSihons, Bewohner des Landes.21 And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, which were dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.
22 Und BileamBileam, den SohnSohn BeorsBeors, den WahrsagerWahrsager, töteten die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael mit dem SchwertSchwert, samt ihren Erschlagenen.22 Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.5
23 Und die Grenze der KinderKinder RubenRuben war der JordanJordan und das Angrenzende11. Das war das ErbteilErbteil der KinderKinder RubenRuben, nach ihren GeschlechternGeschlechtern, die Städte und ihre DörferDörfer. 23 And the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan, and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and the villages thereof.
24 Und MoseMose gab dem Stamm GadGad, den KindernKindern GadGad, nach ihren GeschlechternGeschlechtern. 24 And Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad according to their families.
25 Und es wurde ihnen als Gebiet zuteil: JaserJaser und alle Städte GileadsGileads und die Hälfte des Landes der KinderKinder AmmonAmmon bis AroerAroer, das vor RabbaRabba liegt;25 And their coast was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;
26 und von HesbonHesbon bis Ramat-MizpeRamat-Mizpe und BetonimBetonim, und von MachanaimMachanaim bis an die Grenze von LidebirLidebir;26 And from Heshbon unto Ramathmizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;
27 und in der Talebene: Beth-HaramBeth-Haram und Beth-NimraBeth-Nimra und SukkotSukkot und ZaphonZaphon, der Rest von dem ReichReich SihonsSihons, des Königs von HesbonHesbon, der JordanJordan und das Angrenzende bis an das Ende des Sees KinnerethKinnereth, jenseits des JordanJordan im OstenOsten. 27 And in the valley, Betharam, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward.
28 Das war das ErbteilErbteil der KinderKinder GadGad nach ihren GeschlechternGeschlechtern, die Städte und ihre DörferDörfer. 28 This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities, and their villages.
29 Und MoseMose gab dem halben Stamm ManasseManasse. Und dem halben Stamm der KinderKinder ManasseManasse wurde nach ihren GeschlechternGeschlechtern zuteil. 29 And Moses gave inheritance unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and this was the possession of the half tribe of the children of Manasseh by their families.
30 Und ihr Gebiet war von MachanaimMachanaim an, das ganze BasanBasan, das ganze ReichReich OgsOgs, des Königs von BasanBasan, und alle DörferDörfer JairsJairs, die in BasanBasan sind, 60 Städte.30 And their coast was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:
31 Und das halbe GileadGilead und AstarotAstarot und EdreiEdrei, die Städte des ReichesReiches OgsOgs, in BasanBasan, wurden den Söhnen MakirsMakirs, des SohnesSohnes ManassesManasses, zuteil, der Hälfte der Söhne MakirsMakirs, nach ihren GeschlechternGeschlechtern. 31 And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were pertaining unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir by their families.
32 Das ist es, was MoseMose in den Ebenen MoabsMoabs als ErbeErbe ausgeteilt hat, jenseits des JordanJordan von JerichoJericho, im OstenOsten.32 These are the countries which Moses did distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.
33 Aber dem Stamm LeviLevi gab MoseMose kein ErbteilErbteil; der HERR, der GottGott IsraelsIsraels, ist ihr ErbteilErbteil, so wie er zu ihnen geredet hat.33 But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the LORD God of Israel was their inheritance, as he said unto them.
