1 Es geschah aber, als die Volksmenge auf ihn andrängte, um das WortWort GottesGottes zu hören, dass er an dem See GenezarethGenezareth stand. 1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
2 Und er sah zwei SchiffeSchiffe am See stehen; die FischerFischer aber waren aus denselben getreten und wuschen ihre NetzeNetze. 2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
3 Er aber stieg in eines der SchiffeSchiffe, das SimonSimon gehörte, und bat ihn, ein wenig vom Land hinauszufahren; und er setzte sich und lehrte die Volksmengen vom SchiffSchiff aus. 3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
4 Als er aber aufhörte zu reden, sprach er zu SimonSimon: Fahre hinaus auf die Tiefe und lasst eure NetzeNetze zu einem Fang hinab. 4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 Und SimonSimon antwortete und sprach zu ihm: MeisterMeister, wir haben uns die ganze NachtNacht hindurch bemüht und nichts gefangen, aber auf dein WortWort will ich das NetzNetz hinablassen. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6 Und als sie dies getan hatten, umschlossen sie eine große Menge FischeFische, und ihr NetzNetz riss. 6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
7 Und sie winkten ihren Gefährten in dem anderen SchiffSchiff, dass sie kämen und ihnen hülfen; und sie kamen, und sie füllten beide SchiffeSchiffe, so dass sie sanken. 7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
8 Als aber SimonSimon PetrusPetrus es sah, fiel er zu den Knien Jesu nieder und sprach: Geh von mir hinaus, denn ich bin ein sündiger MenschMensch, HerrHerr.8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
9 Denn Entsetzen hatte ihn erfasst und alle, die bei ihm waren, über den Fang der FischeFische, den sie getan hatten; 9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:
10 ebenso aber auch JakobusJakobus und JohannesJohannes, die Söhne des ZebedäusZebedäus, die Gefährten1 von SimonSimon waren. Und JesusJesus sprach zu SimonSimon: Fürchte dich nicht; von nun an wirst du Menschen fangen. 10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
11 Und als sie die SchiffeSchiffe ans Land gebracht hatten, verließen sie alles und folgten ihm nach.11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.
12 Und es geschah, als er in einer der Städte war, siehe, da war ein MannMann voll AussatzAussatz; und als er JesusJesus sah, fiel er auf sein Angesicht und bat ihn und sprach: HerrHerr, wenn du willst, kannst du mich reinigen. 12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
13 Und er streckte die Hand aus, rührte ihn an und sprach: Ich will; sei gereinigt! Und sogleich wich der AussatzAussatz von ihm. 13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.
14 Und er gebot ihm, es niemand zu sagen; sondern geh hin, zeige dich dem PriesterPriester und opfere für deine ReinigungReinigung, wie MoseMose geboten hat, ihnen zum ZeugnisZeugnis.14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
15 Aber die Rede über ihn verbreitete sich umso mehr; und große Volksmengen versammelten sich, ihn zu hören und von ihren Krankheiten geheilt zu werden.15 But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.
16 Er aber zog sich zurück und war in den Wüsteneien und betetebetete.16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
17 Und es geschah an einem der TageTage, dass er lehrte; und es saßen da PharisäerPharisäer und Gesetzlehrer, die aus jedem DorfDorf von GaliläaGaliläa und JudäaJudäa und aus JerusalemJerusalem gekommen waren; und des HerrnHerrn KraftKraft war da, um sie zu heilen. 17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
18 Und siehe, Männer, die auf einem BettBett einen Menschen bringen, der gelähmt war; und sie suchten ihn hineinzubringen und vor ihn zu legen. 18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.
19 Und da sie nicht fanden, auf welchem Weg sie ihn hineinbringen sollten wegen der Volksmenge, stiegen sie auf das Dach und ließen ihn durch die ZiegelZiegel hinab mit der Tragbahre in die Mitte vor JesusJesus. 19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
20 Und als er ihren Glauben sah, sprach er: MenschMensch, deine Sünden sind dir vergebenvergeben.20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
21 Und die Schriftgelehrten und die PharisäerPharisäer fingen an zu überlegen, indem sie sagten: Wer ist dieser, der LästerungenLästerungen redet? Wer kann Sünden vergebenvergeben, außer GottGott allein?21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
22 Als aber JesusJesus ihre Überlegungen erkannte, antwortete und sprach er zu ihnen: Was überlegt ihr in euren Herzen?22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
23 Was ist leichter, zu sagen: Dir sind deine Sünden vergebenvergeben, oder zu sagen: Steh auf und wandle? 23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
24 Damit ihr aber wisst, dass der SohnSohn des Menschen GewaltGewalt hat, auf der ErdeErde Sünden zu vergebenvergeben ... sprach er zu dem Gelähmten: Ich sage dir, steh auf und nimm deine Tragbahre auf und geh nach deinem HausHaus. 24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
25 Und sogleich stand er vor ihnen auf, nahm auf, worauf er gelegen hatte, und ging hin nach seinem HausHaus, indem er GottGott verherrlichte. 25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
26 Und Staunen ergriff alle, und sie verherrlichten GottGott und wurden mit Furcht erfüllt und sprachen: Wir haben heute außerordentliche2 Dinge gesehen. 26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.
27 Und nach diesem ging er hinaus und sah einen ZöllnerZöllner, mit NamenNamen LeviLevi, am ZollhausZollhaus sitzen und sprach zu ihm: Folge mir nach! 27 And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.
28 Und alles verlassend, stand er auf und folgte ihm nach. 28 And he left all, rose up, and followed him.
29 Und LeviLevi machte ihm ein großes Mahl in seinem HausHaus; und dort war eine große Menge ZöllnerZöllner und anderer, die mit ihnen zu Tisch lagen.29 And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.
30 Und die PharisäerPharisäer und ihre Schriftgelehrten murrten gegen seine JüngerJünger und sprachen: Warum esst und trinkt ihr mit den ZöllnernZöllnern und Sündern?30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
31 Und JesusJesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Die Gesunden bedürfen nicht eines ArztesArztes, sondern die Kranken; 31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
32 ich bin nicht gekommen, Gerechte zu rufen, sondern Sünder zur BußeBuße.32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
33 Sie aber sprachen zu ihm: Warum fastenfasten die JüngerJünger des JohannesJohannes oft und verrichten GebeteGebete, ebenso auch die der PharisäerPharisäer; die deinen aber essen und trinken? 33 And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
34 JesusJesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Ihr könnt doch nicht die Gefährten des Bräutigams3 fastenfasten lassen, während der BräutigamBräutigam bei ihnen ist!34 And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
35 Es werden aber TageTage kommen, und wann der BräutigamBräutigam von ihnen weggenommen sein wird, dann, in jenen Tagen, werden sie fastenfasten.35 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.
36 Er sagte aber auch ein GleichnisGleichnis zu ihnen: Niemand setzt einen Flicken von einem neuen Kleid auf ein altes Kleid; sonst wird er sowohl das neue zerschneiden4, als auch5 der Flicken von dem neuen zum alten nicht passen wird. 36 And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
37 Und niemand tut neuen WeinWein in alte Schläuche; sonst wird der neue WeinWein die Schläuche zerreißen, und er selbst wird verschüttet werden, und die Schläuche werden verderben; 37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
38 sondern neuen WeinWein tut man in neue Schläuche, und beide werden zusammen erhalten. 38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
39 Und niemand will, wenn er alten getrunken hat, neuen, denn er spricht: Der alte ist besser.39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.
