1 Nach diesem offenbarte JesusJesus sich wiederum den JüngernJüngern am See von TiberiasTiberias. Er offenbarte sich aber so: 1 After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.
2 SimonSimon PetrusPetrus und ThomasThomas, genannt Zwilling1, und NathanaelNathanael, der von KanaKana in GaliläaGaliläa war, und die Söhne des ZebedäusZebedäus und zwei andere von seinen JüngernJüngern waren zusammen. Simon PetrusSimon Petrus spricht zu ihnen:2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
3 Ich gehe hin fischen. Sie sprechen zu ihm: Auch wir gehen mit dir. Sie gingen hinaus und stiegen in das SchiffSchiff; und in jener NachtNacht fingen sie nichts. 3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
4 Als aber schon der frühe MorgenMorgen anbrach, stand JesusJesus am Ufer; doch wussten die JüngerJünger nicht, dass es JesusJesus sei. 4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
5 JesusJesus spricht nun zu ihnen: KinderKinder, habt ihr wohl etwas zu essen2? Sie antworteten ihm: Nein. 5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.1
6 Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Werft das NetzNetz auf der rechten Seite des SchiffesSchiffes aus, und ihr werdet finden. Da warfen sie es aus und vermochten es vor der Menge der FischeFische nicht mehr zu ziehen.6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
7 Da sagt jener JüngerJünger, den JesusJesus liebte, zu PetrusPetrus: Es ist der HerrHerr. SimonSimon PetrusPetrus nun, als er hörte, dass es der HerrHerr sei, gürtete das OberkleidOberkleid um (denn er war nackt3) und warf sich in den See. 7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
8 Die anderen JüngerJünger aber kamen in dem BootBoot, (denn sie waren nicht weit vom Land, sondern etwa 200 Ellen) und zogen das NetzNetz mit den FischenFischen nach.8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.
9 Als sie nun ans Land ausstiegen, sehen sie ein Kohlenfeuer angelegt und FischFisch darauf liegen und BrotBrot.9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
10 JesusJesus spricht zu ihnen: Bringt her von den FischenFischen, die ihr jetzt gefangen habt.10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
11 Da ging SimonSimon PetrusPetrus hinauf und zog das NetzNetz voll großer FischeFische, 153, auf das Land; und obwohl es so viele waren, zerriss das NetzNetz nicht.11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
12 JesusJesus spricht zu ihnen: Kommt her, frühstückt! Keiner aber von den JüngernJüngern wagte ihn zu fragen: Wer bist du? da sie wussten, dass es der HerrHerr sei. 12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
13 JesusJesus kommt und nimmt das BrotBrot und gibt es ihnen, und ebenso den FischFisch.13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.
14 Dies ist schon das dritte Mal, dass JesusJesus sich den JüngernJüngern offenbarte, nachdem er aus den Toten auferweckt war.14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
15 Als sie nun gefrühstückt hatten, spricht JesusJesus zu SimonSimon PetrusPetrus: SimonSimon, SohnSohn JonasJonas, liebst du mich mehr als diese? Er spricht zu ihm: Ja, HerrHerr, du weißt, dass ich dich lieb habe. Spricht er zu ihm: Weide meine Lämmer.15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 Wiederum spricht er zum zweiten Mal zu ihm: SimonSimon, SohnSohn JonasJonas, liebst du mich? Er spricht zu ihm: Ja, HerrHerr, du weißt, dass ich dich lieb habe. Spricht er zu ihm: Hüte meine SchafeSchafe.16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 Er spricht zum dritten Mal zu ihm: SimonSimon, SohnSohn JonasJonas, hast du mich lieb? PetrusPetrus wurde traurig, dass er zum dritten Mal zu ihm sagte: Hast du mich lieb?, und sprach zu ihm: HerrHerr, du weißt alles; du erkennst, dass ich dich lieb habe. JesusJesus spricht zu ihm: Weide meine SchafeSchafe.17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
18 Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage dir: Als du jünger warst, gürtetest du dich selbst und wandeltest, wohin du wolltest; wenn du aber alt geworden bist, wirst du deine Hände ausstrecken, und ein anderer wird dich gürten und hinbringen, wohin du nicht willst. 18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
19 Dies aber sagte er, andeutend, mit welchem TodTod er GottGott verherrlichen sollte. Und als er dies gesagt hatte, spricht er zu ihm: Folge mir nach!19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
20 PetrusPetrus wandte sich um und sieht den JüngerJünger nachfolgen, den JesusJesus liebte, der sich auch bei dem AbendessenAbendessen an seine BrustBrust gelehnt und gesagt hatte: HerrHerr, wer ist es, der dich überliefert?20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21 Als nun PetrusPetrus diesen sah, spricht er zu JesusJesus: HerrHerr, was soll aber dieser?21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
22 JesusJesus spricht zu ihm: Wenn ich will, dass er bleibe, bis ich komme, was geht es dich an? Folge du mir nach!22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23 Es ging nun dieses WortWort unter die BrüderBrüder aus: Jener JüngerJünger stirbt nicht. Und JesusJesus sprach nicht zu ihm, dass er nicht sterbe, sondern: Wenn ich will, dass er bleibe, bis ich komme, was geht es dich an? 23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
24 Dieser ist der JüngerJünger, der von diesen Dingen zeugt und der dieses geschrieben hat; und wir wissen, dass sein ZeugnisZeugnis wahr ist.24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
25 Es sind aber auch viele andere Dinge, die JesusJesus getan hat, und wenn diese alle einzeln niedergeschrieben würden, so würde, denke ich, selbst die WeltWelt die geschriebenen Bücher nicht fassen.25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
