1 WeheWehe denen, die Unheil sinnen und Böses vorbereiten auf ihren LagernLagern! Beim Morgenlicht führen sie es aus, weil es in der MachtMacht ihrer Hand steht.1 Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
2 Und sie begehren nach Äckern und raubenrauben sie, und nach Häusern und nehmen sie weg; und sie verüben Gewalttat an dem MannMann und seinem HausHaus, an dem Menschen und seinem ErbteilErbteil. 2 And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.1
3 Darum, so spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich sinne ein Unglück gegen1 dieses GeschlechtGeschlecht, aus dem ihr eure Hälse nicht ziehen und unter dem ihr nicht aufrecht2 umhergehen werdet; denn es ist eine böse ZeitZeit.3 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
4 An jenem TagTag wird man einen Spruch über euch anheben und ein Klagelied anstimmen. Es ist geschehen! Wird man sagen; wir sind gänzlich verwüstet: das Teil meines Volkes vertauscht er; wie entzieht er es mir! Dem Abtrünnigen verteilt er unsere Felder. 4 In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.23
5 Darum wirst du niemand haben, der in der VersammlungVersammlung des HERRN die Messschnur wirft, um ein Los zu bestimmen3.5 Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD.
6 „Weissagt4 nicht“, weissagen sie5. Weissagt man nicht jenen6, so wird die Schmach nicht weichen.6 Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.4
7 Du, HausHaus JakobJakob genannt, ist dem HERRN ungeduldig7? Oder sind dies seine Taten? Sind meine WorteWorte nicht gütig gegen den, der aufrichtig8 wandelt?7 O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?56
8 Aber noch unlängst lehnte sich mein Volk als Feind auf: Vom OberkleidOberkleid zieht ihr den MantelMantel denen ab, die sorglos vorübergehen, vom Krieg abgewandt sind; 8 Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war.78
9 die Frauen meines Volkes vertreibt ihr aus dem HausHaus ihrer Wonne, von ihren KindernKindern nehmt ihr meinen SchmuckSchmuck auf immer.9 The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever.9
10 MachtMacht euch auf und zieht hin! Denn dieses Land ist der Ruheort nicht, um der Verunreinigung willen, die VerderbenVerderben bringt, und zwar gewaltiges VerderbenVerderben.10 Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.
11 Wenn ein MannMann da ist, der dem WindWind nachgeht und betrügerisch lügt: „Ich will dir weissagen von WeinWein und von starkem Getränk“, der wird ein ProphetProphet dieses Volkes sein.11 If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.10
12 Sammeln werde ich dich, JakobJakob, ganz sammeln; versammeln, ja, versammeln werde ich den Überrest IsraelsIsraels. Ich werde ihn zusammenbringen wie die SchafeSchafe von BozraBozra, wie eine HerdeHerde inmitten ihrer Trift; sie werden lärmen vor Menge der Menschen. 12 I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.
13 Der Durchbrecher zieht herauf vor ihnen her; sie brechen durch und ziehen durch das TorTor und gehen durch dasselbe hinaus; und ihr König zieht vor ihnen her und der HERR an ihrer Spitze.13 The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.
