1 Und die Obersten des Volkes wohnten in JerusalemJerusalem. Und das übrige Volk warf Lose, um je einen von zehn kommen zu lassen, damit er in JerusalemJerusalem, der heiligen Stadt, wohne, die neun anderen Teile aber in den Städten blieben.1 And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.
2 Und das Volk segnete alle Männer, die sich freiwillig erboten, in JerusalemJerusalem zu wohnen.2 And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
3 Und dies sind die Häupter der Landschaft, die in JerusalemJerusalem wohnten1; in den Städten JudasJudas aber wohnten, jeder in seinem Besitztum, in ihren Städten: IsraelIsrael, die PriesterPriester und die LevitenLeviten und die NethinimNethinim und die Söhne der KnechteKnechte SalomosSalomos.3 Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants.
4 Und zwar wohnten in JerusalemJerusalem von den Söhnen JudasJudas und von den Söhnen BenjaminsBenjamins; von den Söhnen JudasJudas: AtajaAtaja, der SohnSohn UssijasUssijas, des SohnesSohnes SekarjasSekarjas, des SohnesSohnes AmarjasAmarjas, des SohnesSohnes SchephatjasSchephatjas, des SohnesSohnes MahalalelsMahalalels, von den Söhnen PerezPerez';4 And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez;1
5 und MaasejaMaaseja, der SohnSohn BaruksBaruks, des SohnesSohnes Kol-HosesKol-Hoses, des SohnesSohnes HasajasHasajas, des SohnesSohnes AdajasAdajas, des SohnesSohnes JojaribsJojaribs, des SohnesSohnes SekarjasSekarjas, von den Schilonitern2.5 And Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Colhozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.
6 Aller Söhne des PerezPerez, die in JerusalemJerusalem wohnten, waren 468 tapfere Männer.6 All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.
7 Und dies sind die Söhne BenjaminsBenjamins: SalluSallu, der SohnSohn MeschullamsMeschullams, des SohnesSohnes JoedsJoeds, des SohnesSohnes PedajasPedajas, des SohnesSohnes KolajasKolajas, des SohnesSohnes MaasejasMaasejas, des SohnesSohnes IthielsIthiels, des SohnesSohnes JesajasJesajas;7 And these are the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah.
8 und nach ihm Gabbai-SallaiGabbai-Sallai, 928.8 And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.
9 Und JoelJoel, der SohnSohn SikrisSikris, war AufseherAufseher über sie; und JudaJuda, der SohnSohn HassenuasHassenuas, war über die Stadt als Zweiter.9 And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer: and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city.

14 und ihre BrüderBrüder, tüchtige Männer: 128. Und AufseherAufseher über sie war SabdielSabdiel, der SohnSohn Haggedolims.14 And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men.2
15 Und von den LevitenLeviten: SchemajaSchemaja, der SohnSohn HaschubsHaschubs, des SohnesSohnes AsrikamsAsrikams, des SohnesSohnes HaschabjasHaschabjas, des SohnesSohnes BunnisBunnis;15 Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;
16 und SchabbetaiSchabbetai und JosabadJosabad, von den Häuptern der LevitenLeviten, die über die äußeren Geschäfte des Hauses GottesGottes gesetzt waren; 16 And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God.3
17 und MattanjaMattanja, der SohnSohn MichasMichas, des SohnesSohnes SabdisSabdis, des SohnesSohnes AsaphsAsaphs, das HauptHaupt; er stimmte den Lobgesang an beim GebetGebet; und BakbukjaBakbukja, der Zweite, von seinen BrüdernBrüdern; und AbdaAbda, der SohnSohn SchammuasSchammuas, des SohnesSohnes GalalsGalals, des SohnesSohnes JeduthunsJeduthuns.17 And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
18 Aller LevitenLeviten in der heiligen Stadt waren 284.18 All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four.
19 Und die TorhüterTorhüter: AkkubAkkub, TalmonTalmon und ihre BrüderBrüder, die in den Toren WacheWache hielten, 172.19 Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundred seventy and two.4
20 (Und das übrige IsraelIsrael, die PriesterPriester, die LevitenLeviten, waren in allen Städten JudasJudas, jeder in seinem ErbteilErbteil. –20 And the residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.
21 Und die NethinimNethinim wohnten auf dem OphelOphel; und ZichaZicha und GischpaGischpa waren über die NethinimNethinim. –)21 But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinims.5
22 Und AufseherAufseher der LevitenLeviten in JerusalemJerusalem war UssiUssi, der SohnSohn BanisBanis, des SohnesSohnes HaschabjasHaschabjas, des SohnesSohnes MattanjasMattanjas, des SohnesSohnes MichasMichas, von den Söhnen AsaphsAsaphs, den Sängern, für das Geschäft im HausHaus GottesGottes. 22 The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God.
23 Denn ein Gebot des Königs war über sie ergangen, und eine Verpflichtung über die Sänger bezüglich der täglichen Gebühr.23 For it was the king's commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.6
24 Und PetachjaPetachja, der SohnSohn MeschesabeelsMeschesabeels, von den Söhnen SerachsSerachs, des SohnesSohnes JudasJudas, war zur Hand des Königs für alle Angelegenheiten des Volkes.24 And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people.7
25 Und was die DörferDörfer auf ihren Feldern betrifft, so wohnten von den KindernKindern JudaJuda in Kirjat-ArbaKirjat-Arba und seinen Tochterstädten und in DibonDibon und seinen Tochterstädten und in JekabzeelJekabzeel und seinen DörfernDörfern;25 And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjatharba, and in the villages thereof, and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages thereof,
26 und in JeschuaJeschua und in MoladaMolada und in Beth-PeletBeth-Pelet26 And at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Bethphelet,
27 und in Hazar-SchualHazar-Schual und in BeersebaBeerseba und seinen Tochterstädten27 And at Hazarshual, and at Beersheba, and in the villages thereof,
28 und in ZiklagZiklag und in MekonaMekona und in seinen Tochterstädten28 And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof,
29 und in En-RimmonEn-Rimmon und in ZoraZora und in JarmutJarmut,29 And at Enrimmon, and at Zareah, and at Jarmuth,
30 SanoachSanoach, AdullamAdullam und seinen DörfernDörfern, LachisLachis und seinen Feldern, AsekaAseka und seinen Tochterstädten. Und sie ließen sich nieder von BeersebaBeerseba bis zum TalTal Hinnom.30 Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beersheba unto the valley of Hinnom.
31 Und die KinderKinder BenjaminBenjamin wohnten von GebaGeba an in MikmasMikmas und AijaAija und BethelBethel und seinen Tochterstädten,31 The children also of Benjamin from Geba dwelt at Michmash, and Aija, and Bethel, and in their villages,89
32 in AnatotAnatot, NobNob, AnanjaAnanja,32 And at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33 HazorHazor, RamaRama, GittaimGittaim,33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34 HadidHadid, ZeboimZeboim, NeballatNeballat,34 Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35 LodLod und OnoOno, dem TalTal der Werkleute6. 35 Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.
36 Und von den LevitenLeviten gehörten AbteilungenAbteilungen von JudaJuda zu BenjaminBenjamin7.36 And of the Levites were divisions in Judah, and in Benjamin.
