2 ELB-BK: Hld. 3,2 Ich will doch aufstehen und in der Stadt umhergehen, auf den Straßen und auf den Plätzen, will den suchen, den meine SeeleSeele liebt. Ich suchte ihn und fand ihn nicht.	2 KJV: Song. 3,2 I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.

4 Kaum war ich an ihnen vorüber, da fand ich ihn, den meine Seele liebt. Ich ergriff ihn und ließ ihn nicht, bis ich ihn gebracht hatte in das Haus meiner Mutter und in das Gemach meiner Gebärerin.

9 Der König Salomo hat sich ein Prachtbett gemacht von dem Holz des Libanon.

9 King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon.¹

10 Seine Säulen hat er aus Silber gemacht, seine Lehne aus Gold, seinen Sitz von Purpur; das Innere ist kunstvoll gestickt¹, aus Liebe, von den Töchtern Jerusalems.

11 Kommt heraus, Töchter Zions, und betrachtet den König Salomo in der Krone, mit der seine Mutter ihn gekrönt hat² am Tag seiner Vermählung und am Tag der Freude seines Herzens!

11 Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.
