1 And Jehovah said to Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh; for by a strong hand shall he let them go, and by a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.1 Und JehovaJehova sprach zu MoseMose: Nun sollst du sehen, was ich dem PharaoPharao tun werde; denn durch eine starke Hand gezwungen soll er sie ziehen lassen, und durch eine starke Hand gezwungen soll er sie aus seinem Lande wegtreiben.
2 And God spoke to Moses, and said to him, I am Jehovah.2 Und GottGott redete zu MoseMose und sprach zu ihm: Ich bin JehovaJehova.
3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as the Almighty *God; but by my name Jehovah I was not made known to them.3 Und ich bin AbrahamAbraham, IsaakIsaak und JakobJakob erschienen als Gott1, der AllmächtigeAllmächtige; aber mit meinem NamenNamen JehovaJehova habe ich mich ihnen nicht kundgegeben.
4 And I established also my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were sojourners.4 Und auch habe ich meinen BundBund mit ihnen aufgerichtet, ihnen das Land KanaanKanaan zu geben, das Land ihrer Fremdlingschaft, in welchem sie als FremdlingeFremdlinge geweilt haben.
5 And I have heard also the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians have forced to serve, and I have remembered my covenant.5 Und auch habe ich das Wehklagen der KinderKinder IsraelIsrael gehört, welche die Ägypter zum Dienst anhalten, und habe meines BundesBundes gedacht.
6 Therefore say unto the children of Israel, I am Jehovah, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their service, and I will redeem you with a stretched-out arm, and with great judgments.6 Darum sprich zu den KindernKindern IsraelIsrael: Ich bin JehovaJehova, und ich werde euch herausführen unter den Lastarbeiten der Ägypter hinweg, und werde euch erretten aus ihrem Dienste, und euch erlösen mit ausgestrecktem ArmArm und durch große GerichteGerichte.
7 And I will take you to me for a people, and will be your God; and ye shall know that I, Jehovah your God, am he who bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.7 Und ich will euch annehmen mir zum Volke, und will euer GottGott2 sein; und ihr sollt erkennen, daß ich JehovaJehova, euer GottGott, bin, der euch herausführt unter den Lastarbeiten der Ägypter hinweg.
8 And I will bring you into the land concerning which I swore to give it unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; and I will give it you for a possession: I am Jehovah.8 Und ich werde euch in das Land bringen, welches dem AbrahamAbraham, IsaakIsaak und JakobJakob zu geben ich meine Hand erhoben habe, und werde es euch zum Besitztum geben, ich, JehovaJehova3.
9 And Moses spoke thus to the children of Israel; but they did not listen to Moses from anguish of spirit, and from hard service.9 Und MoseMose redete also zu den KindernKindern IsraelIsrael; aber sie hörten nicht auf MoseMose vor Ungeduld4 und vor hartem Dienste.
10 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,10 Und JehovaJehova redete zu MoseMose und sprach:
11 Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.11 Gehe hinein, rede zu dem PharaoPharao, dem KönigeKönige von Ägypten, daß er die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael aus seinem Lande ziehen lasse.
12 And Moses spoke before Jehovah, saying, Lo, the children of Israel do not hearken to me: how then should Pharaoh hearken to me, to me of uncircumcised lips?12 Und MoseMose redete vor JehovaJehova und sprach: Siehe, die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael haben nicht auf mich gehört, und wie sollte der PharaoPharao mich hören, zumal ich unbeschnitten an Lippen bin?
13 And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a commandment to the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.13 Und JehovaJehova redete5 zu MoseMose und zu AaronAaron und gab ihnen Befehl an die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael und an den PharaoPharao, den König von Ägypten, um die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael aus dem Lande Ägypten hinauszuführen.
14 These are the heads of their fathers' houses: the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Enoch and Phallu, Hezron and Carmi: these are the families of Reuben.14 Dies sind die Häupter ihrer Vaterhäuser: Die Söhne RubensRubens, des Erstgeborenen IsraelsIsraels: HanokHanok und PalluPallu, HezronHezron und KarmiKarmi; das sind die GeschlechterGeschlechter RubensRubens.
15 --And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Saul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon.15 Und die Söhne SimeonsSimeons: JemuelJemuel und JaminJamin und OhadOhad und JakinJakin und ZocharZochar und SaulSaul, der SohnSohn der KanaaniterinKanaaniterin; das sind die GeschlechterGeschlechter SimeonsSimeons.
16 And these are the names of the sons of Levi, according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari. 17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.17 Die Söhne GersonsGersons: LibniLibni und SimeiSimei, nach ihren Familien.
18 And the sons of Kohath: Amram, and Jizhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel. And the years of the life of Kohath were a hundred and thirty-three years.18 Und die Söhne KehathsKehaths: AmramAmram und JizharJizhar und HebronHebron und UssielUssiel; und die LebensjahreLebensjahre KehathsKehaths waren hundert dreiunddreißig JahreJahre.

20 And Amram took Jochebed his aunt as wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. 23 And Aaron took Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Nahshon, as wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.23 Und AaronAaron nahm ElischebaElischeba, die TochterTochter AmminadabsAmminadabs, die Schwester NachschonsNachschons, sich zum Weibe; und sie gebar ihm NadabNadab und AbihuAbihu, EleasarEleasar und IthamarIthamar.

25 And Eleazar Aaron's son took one of the daughters of Putiel as wife; and she bore him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.25 Und EleasarEleasar, der SohnSohn AaronsAarons, nahm eine von den Töchtern PutielsPutiels sich zum Weibe, und sie gebar ihm PinehasPinehas; das sind die Häupter der VäterVäter der LevitenLeviten nach ihren GeschlechternGeschlechtern.
26 This is that Aaron and Moses, to whom Jehovah said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their hosts.26 Dieser AaronAaron und dieser MoseMose sind es, zu denen JehovaJehova gesprochen hat: Führet die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael aus dem Lande Ägypten hinaus, nach ihren Heeren.
27 These are they who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: this is that Moses and Aaron.27 Diese sind es, die zu dem PharaoPharao, dem KönigeKönige von Ägypten, redeten, um die KinderKinder IsraelIsrael aus Ägypten hinauszuführen; dieser MoseMose und dieser AaronAaron.
28 And it came to pass on the day when Jehovah spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,28 Und es geschah an dem TageTage, da JehovaJehova zu MoseMose redete im Lande Ägypten,
29 that Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, I am Jehovah: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.29 da redete JehovaJehova zu MoseMose und sprach: Ich bin JehovaJehova; rede zu dem PharaoPharao, dem KönigeKönige von Ägypten, alles was ich zu dir rede.
30 And Moses said before Jehovah, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how will Pharaoh hearken unto me?30 Und MoseMose sprach vor JehovaJehova: Siehe, ich bin unbeschnitten an Lippen, und wie sollte der PharaoPharao auf mich hören?
